Guys,

This is a beautifully touching film about a young boy named Rocky Dennis, who despite having a horribly misfigured face overcame great odds to live life to the fullest. It is very moving and at times very sad. I was wondering how close is the portral of Rocky Dennis in the movie to that of the real Rocky Dennis? Eric Stoltz was great as Rocky and Cher was also superb as his free-spirited but loving mother.

Does anyone know the date that Rocky Dennis died? I know it was in 1980, but can't find the date anywhere. Thanks!
