Gotcha! Since no one will ever look at the post unless its actual news, i made it seem like there actually was news! :D

this is just as important as actual DVD news though. paramount was supposed to release s3 in spring. it seems as if that isnt going to happen. we need to fight for our right and make paramount continue releasing the sets! btw, i havent even picked up s2 yet, but im getting to it! and by the time im finished with s2, we damn well better have ACTUAL Season Three Details up on http://www.tvshowsondvd.com

Here I was thinking somebody else knew these kind of things besides Pav and was going to give us a date for season 3.

yeah, my username tricks people sometimes into thinking i got connections lol.

but seriously, would you or anyone else here even give the thread the time of day if it said "When's Taxi Season Three Gonna Come Out?'" We need to capture paramount's attention somehow.

^ I'd probably look at it if it said that.

I hope there are plans to release all the remaining seasons of Taxi. It's not aired on terrestrial television in Britain, so I've got no hope of ever seeing any of the remaining episodes - whereas if, in America, you can access the channels that rerun them, you can at least see them then.

Maybe they've decided to have a six-month gap between the releases? Season Two was released February 1st...maybe they're looking for an August release? I hope it's around August, anyway...or even sooner, if possible! I sincerely hope they haven't decided to stop at just two.

paramount is pretty good at keeping show dvd's alive, but they're usually faster than this!

what caused Paramount to stop doing the "every 3 months" deal anyways? Season 3 should be out by now considering the original plan.

Paramount's been pretty crappy with Mork And Mindy as well, another show that ran around the same time as Taxi, and like Taxi, doesn't currently air in reruns outside of a few markets.

paramount does weird things like having extras on cheers s1-3 and then none on 4 and 5. having extras on TBB s1 and not putting any on s2. not to mention releasing season 11 of frasier before 4-10. putting extras on frasier 1-3 and 11 and not 4 and 5! the list goes on and on. but overall the pros USUALLY outweigh the cons. at least paramount isnt giving us a lions gate treatment like they did to alf s1. what did alf do that was so wrong anyway lol?
