A resounding yes for me. I watch these female comedians all of the time and think, "where would you be without Lucy". As the E show stated, shhe paved the way for most of the female funny women of today. I've never seen a lady as funnier. How about y'all?

I don't know if she's the funniest necesarily, but she was the first one on tv to really go all out and that has earned her a place in history. I always thought Carol Burnett was pretty good too. Both were hysterical without having to say anything.

She is tied with Carole Lombard and Katharine Hepburn for me. Kate was hilarious.

I don't know if she is the funniest female ever. I would definately say that shes the biggest and obviously a genius at what she did. She opened up doors for everyone before. No one else can touch her because she was the first and always will be unique. There was no one else even close before and we only have her to thank for other talents.

I don't believe that she was the funniest, but she is definitely in my top 5.

I think it was just a matter of opinion, but in my eyes she was without a doubt the funniest and no one can hold a candle to her. Again, JMO. ;)
