I have a dream power! :eek: I have the power to get out of a dream when I am in trouble! :eek: I have done this only twice but,..... the other day, I was in trouble with my stepmom in a dream, she was MAD at me because I had come home very late, and she was telling me something. In the dream/real life, I thought, "I don't wanna be in this dream anymore!" and I woke up. I knew I was dreaming, and I had the power to wake up from it. (But something was telling me that I should have let my stepmother finish telling me what she was saying). I did that 6 years ago, when I got into trouble for staying out ALL NIGHT in a dream. I wasn't living with my biological mom at the time, and I was in a car, and someone was driving me to my mom so that they could tell what I had done. I said, "I don't wanna be in this dream anyymore!", and then I woke up.

It's not that big of a deal. I've done that a hundred times, especially in bad dreams.

I can do that too, whenever I have a nightmare I seem to have the ability to make myself wake up.

um... ok. it's not a special super power or anything.
i always dream lucidly when i'm having a bad dream; however, i can't make myself wake up even though i desperately try to. what always happens is i dream that i wake up, then think "am i really awake or is this still a dream?" and keep trying. it usually happens about 10 times in a row until i actually wake up, if i even do.

man, I always just bring a flamethrower in with me in case I run into trouble.
(and being able to fly doesn't hurt neither)

i also discovered a few years ago that screaming "WAKE UP!!!! WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP, DAMNIT!!!!!!" doesn't help at all.
