barwars 05-15-2005, 10:15 PM Cant ****ing wait. Too bad I wont be able to watch it until like 1 or 2 in the morning. My brothers graduation is that day, and we wont be back in town until late.
But just in case.... I'll have 2 seperate VCRs set to record the same thing. And I figure, if theres a power outage.... I'll kill someone myself and won't need any murder from the show.

ABC will re-air it on Saturday May 28th at 10pm ET if it gets TOO bad.
Brent88 05-16-2005, 10:48 AM Hey Pav... can you tell me when the promos for this will air? I want to make sure I see them all(for hints :p )
Brent88 05-16-2005, 09:52 PM 30-second ad with Grey's Anatomy that aired tonight during The Bachelor(approximately 9:45pm)
Bree to Rex in the hospital: The best is yet to come
Announcer: This Sunday
(Grey's clip)
Announcer: The most anticipated season finales are here
Susan says something to Edie that we can't hear and then
Edie: Stick it up my, WHAT?
Announcer: First, it's the Number One Show in America
Justin: You beat up the wrong guy
Announcer: and this time... someone
Carlos in court yelling: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!
(Various shots of guns and a knife falling seen including a gun in Susan's house!!)
Announcer:... will not survive
Then Grey's.
James"Thunder"Early 05-16-2005, 09:55 PM Now I'm wondering if the killer will be one of the housewives. I have no clue who's going to die. this is sounds exciting.
Brent88 05-16-2005, 10:10 PM Now I'm wondering if the killer will be one of the housewives. I have no clue who's going to die. this is sounds exciting.
Oh yes... no one has been ruled out(I think about the only thing we can be sure of is that it will NOT be one of the Housewives killed), but there's some interesting little shots in the previews. I need to go look at it some more. :p
Brent88 05-16-2005, 10:15 PM One thing that has me baffled is what happens to George... NO ONE on Wisteria Lane just vanishes and is never heard from again(not even Mama Solis). Something tells me we'll see him again, but the main character who dies is not him IMO. It's someone in the credits.
Brent88 05-16-2005, 11:02 PM Part of a 1-minute ad with EM: HE and Grey's Anatomy:
Announcer: Then... it's the episode you've been waiting for all year
Edie to someone: I am totally freaked out(running away from someone's house)
Shots of the wives in an elevator and Bree on the phone shown
Announcer: It's the season finale of television's #1 show
Paul shown in a pit of some kind(quarry maybe?) Gabrielle alone on a bed
Susan: I know all about the blackmail
Announcer: Someone... will not survive
Mike shown pulling a gun at the same place where Paul is shown
Carlos in court yelling: I am going to kill him!
Gabrielle shocked
Then onto Grey's.
Brent88 05-18-2005, 09:16 AM 05/18 - The character who dies is male. And it's not Paul. Or Mike. Or Carlos. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
That IMO says Rex or John. They are the only two guys that are in the credits and in most, if not all the episodes. Zach and George are only guest stars.
:(

:(Only a couple of theories left, Carlos kills John or that pharmacist kills Rex or one of them is killed and the real killer won't be revealed until next season
Brent88 05-18-2005, 10:32 AM Only a couple of theories left, Carlos kills John or that pharmacist kills Rex or one of them is killed and the real killer won't be revealed until next season
There's going to be a cliffhanger so I'm thinking one of the above dies, we'll pretty much know who did it(Carlos if it's John, the medicine/George if it's Rex). I think Mike and Paul are going to have a confrontation(see previews) and we'll be left hanging after Mike shoots Paul and he's unconscious and/or serious condition.
spunkygirl 05-18-2005, 12:59 PM You know Marc Cherry has changed things before, and he could be saying the person that dies is in the opening credits to keep us guessing, he's done it before ;)

It's defintely someone in the credits... I've been hearing that for months. I just wonder if the "it's not Paul/Mike/Carlos" stuff is misdirection(mainly Paul).
Pavan 05-18-2005, 03:47 PM Maybe it will be Zach. Look at this, lol:
'Desperate Housewives' Teen Arrested
Actor Cody Kasch, who plays troubled teen Zach Young on ABC's hit series "Desperate Housewives," has been charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, police said Wednesday.
Plainclothes officers arrested Kasch, 17, at about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the East Village in Manhattan after they spotted him allegedly smoking marijuana in public, said Officer Jennara Everleth, a police department spokeswoman.
Kasch, who has a Queens address, was charged with fifth-degree drug possession, given a ticket and released. No court date was set.
Brent88 05-18-2005, 03:50 PM
I see he's as troubled in real life as he is on the show. :p
spunkygirl 05-18-2005, 03:52 PM  Whoa, I bet that doesn't bode well at all for his future on the show.
barwars 05-18-2005, 04:38 PM At least it seems he's living a normal teenage life.
Better marijuana than crack or even just plain cigarettes.

Brent88 05-18-2005, 11:44 PM MAJOR SPOILERS DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW
I mean it
You sure???
You really sure???
Well... here it goes
Must highlight the text to read it or go to the link. :p
This is from a WELL-RESPECTED poster over at Television Without Pity(link is below)
Anyway...the scenes of Gabby having an ultrasound and of Bree visiting some unrecognizable person in the hospital are not in the finale, so my guess now is that those scenes were cut from the previous episode.
What is actually in the finale...in flashback form, Deirdre has a run-in with Angela/Mary Alice, and I think we all know how that turns out.
In the present day, Felicia has a run-in with Zach and a hockey stick, but (apparently) lives.
Lynette has a run-in with Tom and an air hockey table, but there's nothing potentially life-threatening there, so never mind.
Susan has a run-in with Zach and a gun, but how exactly that turns out is a cliffhanger for next season.
Rex has a run-in with the elevated potassium levels in his blood, and I'm sorry, but unless they're going to re-edit the show at the very last minute (including the MAVO at the end)...I think you can tell where I'm going with this.

Brent88 05-19-2005, 06:54 PM :crying:
Well this just sucks.
From the same guy in the same thread:
I don't work for ABC, I work for the company that's contracted to closed-caption most of their prime-time shows (among many other shows for other networks). It just so happens that I got permanently assigned to caption "Desperate Housewives" every week this season, so I've gotten to see all of the episodes a few days before they air and have therefore been able to regularly post spoilers here. That's relatively rare, since usually shows aren't solely assigned to one captioner -- for example, "Lost" has been split up among three or four of us all season (I've captioned chunks of six or seven of the episodes).
I haven't heard of any reaction from ABC or from the show or from my bosses at my company about my posting spoilers here; I've signed confidentiality agreements in the past for a couple of shows, including one ABC series ("Push, Nevada"), but not for "DH."
Rex's death is in the middle of the show, sorry to say. The women huddled together in the hospital comes pretty close to the beginning of the show.
*sniff* I just can't imagine this show without him, and please in the name of all things holy tell me how this is shocking? What a bunch of needless hype.
spunkygirl 05-19-2005, 07:43 PM Brent don't believe everything you read ;) That person could be lying, and giving away spoilers like that will end up getting him fired ohno:

I hope it's not true, but the guy is well-respected over there and has apparently been right before. :(
Christopher 05-21-2005, 10:52 AM Why isn't anyone else happy if Rex dies? Don't you see the good it will bring for this show? Bree can finally have her life back and do crazy things again. I hope all these rumors about Rex dying turns out to be true.

Rex and Bree make a great couple. Bree needs someone to play off of. Who is it going to be if Rex dies?
Christopher 05-21-2005, 11:16 AM Rex and Bree make a great couple. Bree needs someone to play off of. Who is it going to be if Rex dies?
Rex was cruel to Bree, how can anyone like him. Bree can start dating again and bring new characters to this show. She's also going to play into Andrew's story. I think Bree is going to be great on her own.
Does everyone remember when Bree got involved with Zach in the beginning episodes? No I don't mean I want them as a couple, but I think she should have gotten more involved with that story than Susan did. Zach was growing feelings for Bree. It sucks they dropped that story without ever finishing it.

Uh no... the thing that sucked me into this show(besides the murder of Mrs. Huber) was Rex and Bree. I'm not a fan of Gabby and Carlos and I think Lynette's storyline is boring(well, until Annabel came along), I'm getting tired of Susan's ditzy ways and I won't even talk about Edie.

This show did get boring after Mrs. Huber died. I think it's get a little better lately. I loved Mrs. Huber. That episode when the man passed out in her yard and she wheeled him over to Bree's yard was the best hilarious scene on this show ever.
Edie isn't even in this show that much. I hope Alfre Woodard, I hope I spelled her name right, gets a lot of air time next season. Her storyline sounds interesting.

I heard a while back she was going to be in the opening credits, but then again, Edie is too and she's only in half the episodes.
She's supposed to have a big mystery though so I expect in her every episode(or 90% of them).
Brent88 05-21-2005, 11:36 AM That episode when the man passed out in her yard and she wheeled him over to Bree's yard was the best hilarious scene on this show ever.
 That was hilarious.
Brent88 05-22-2005, 08:54 AM :(
May 22, 2005 -- IF you don't want to know what happens on tonight's season finale of "Desperate Housewives," stop reading here. Sources tell us that Bree's husband, Rex (Stephen Culp), will finally die of a heart attack, caused because George the pharmacist, who is in love with Bree (Marcia Cross), switched pills on him. Also, Carlos Solis (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) gets further into trouble at his gay-bashing trial when John the gardener (Jesse Metcalf) tells him he was servicing his wife, Gabrielle (Eva Longoria). "Why do you think I was mowing your lawn three times a week," he tells Carlos in the courtroom, prompting Carlos to go crazy in front of the judge.

Christopher 05-22-2005, 01:15 PM Marcia just keeps getting beautiful. Just because Rex is dying, doesn't mean Steven Culp is out of the show. Even though I wish he was, they could always bring him back as a twin brother or cousin. I hope they don't though. I don't care for his acting. I liked the guy from the unaired pilot who played Rex.

I was thinking what if he dies, but comes back to life next season? It IS Desperate Housewives.
Or maybe... they get the funeral all set and then he wakes up angry.
OK... a little far-fetched, but EVERYTHING on this show is. :p
Mr. Television 05-22-2005, 04:16 PM I hope these spoilers are wrong.
Brent88 05-22-2005, 04:33 PM I hope these spoilers are wrong.
I still have a little hope that Marc Cherry will shock us all, but I'm really not thinking that's going to happen now. I'm dreading this episode so much and yet want it to hurry up and air. The tissues will be ready. :(

James"Thunder"Early 05-22-2005, 04:55 PM Looks good. I'm anxious to see the parts where Zach confronting Susan and Carlos going crazy in court.
Caffeine King 05-22-2005, 10:06 PM So is that pic of Gabby & John in the sprinklers the scene they didn't show that Good Morning America always talks about?
great episode!
Not much of a cliffhanger though for me...I don't really care if Mike dies or not.
spunkygirl 05-22-2005, 10:12 PM Brent that pic of Gabby and John must be a cut scene
WOW this was an excellent episode. I bet Zach is Mike's son. It's great that Diedre got herself cleaned up before she was killed.
WOW Marcia Cross moved me without saying a word after she sat down at the kitchen table and right before she started bawling, I was crying.
Zach sure went cukoo, what a cliffhanger they left off.
Lynnette going back to work, she sure seemed to like that idea. Let Tom know what it's like to be with those holy terror kids all day long. Know what she went through when he was gone so much for work.
John in court with Carlos, that had me laughing when Carlos flipped out. John timed that perfectly  I'm glad Felicia wasn't killed, I like her.
Pavan 05-22-2005, 10:19 PM EXCELLENT season finale! It had everything! I'm sad that Rex died. George is evil and he deserved to die. After, hearing what Paul had to say, I feel sorry for him now. I'm glad Mike didn't shoot him now. Why John why did you have to say something in court, lol? The season premiere is going to be GREAT next fall now. Mike will survive Zach I'm sure.
I guess the Andrew-Justin storyline will be in the season premiere.
Brent88 05-22-2005, 10:19 PM Actually... we don't know if Felicia survives. We know she makes it to the hospital, but Mama Solis also made it there and we see the result.
The big cliffhanger to me is Mike walking in on Susan and Zach. With no Paul, what's Zach going to think? I really hope Mike tells him he's his dad before anything else happens.
Sean Snow 05-22-2005, 10:58 PM ...Wow.
Marcia Cross was amazing and totally stole the episode. She is definitely Emmy-worthy.
I'm so sad over Rex dying. I loved him with Bree (celeBREX *cough*), even when he wasn't very agreeable. Sigh. Why did Rex have to die? Why not someone irritating like Lynette or Susan? :o I'm just glad Felicia didn't die, because if she did I would be a very, very sad Snow. *sniffle*
The Applewhites seem very interesting.
Lynette got off easy. I was expecting Tom to leave her, but in the end she got exactly what she's wanted all along - to go back to the workplace.
The entire Mary Alice plot was on fire this episode! It was great seeing a lot of Brenda Strong.
Brent, how can Mike be sure Zach is his son? After all, his wife was also sleeping with that bad cop.
Sigh. I don't want to wait until the fall.
Mr. Television 05-22-2005, 11:09 PM I guess its true. Rex is dead. :( Marcia was great in that episode. I felt so sorry for her. I guess Mary Alice was the real evil one in her family. I actually felt a little sorry for Paul. No wonder Zach is all screwed up. The Carlos courtroom scene was a riot. I think those new neighbors have something to hide. They sure came to the right street.
Brent88 05-22-2005, 11:21 PM I was disappointed about Tom... dang it, what happened to the (I guess I can reveal now) other family plot??? I would have liked that better.
The Applewhites are up to something... and it's creepy. There is something in that house I believe.
Brent88 05-22-2005, 11:23 PM Brent, how can Mike be sure Zach is his son? After all, his wife was also sleeping with that bad cop.
That is true... but he's probably going to just think that and go along with it. Plus, why else would he really be there??? It only makes sense.
Pavan 05-22-2005, 11:37 PM Hmm, maybe Rex isn't dead afterall? Maybe he told the doctor to tell Bree that he is, after realizing that Bree probably did this to him.
Watch Good Morning America tomorrow for the 3rd secret scene. The last 2 weeks they have had them in the 7:30am ET half hour. The first one was on May 9 with "Bree and her love sick admirer, George, the pharmacist." Last week was about Lynette and Tom, her jealousy over Tom's old girlfriend that is back and working.
I'm sure these scenes will make it on DVD, though.
The View always has DH on their "Hot Topics" on Monday morning. So, catch that, too.

That would be a great plot twist.
Pavan 05-22-2005, 11:43 PM Yes, it would be, and I hope it is! BTW, Steven Culp will be on The Tonight Show tomorrow night.

You know I was thinking the same thing, maybe somehow he fakes his death(I mean he is a doctor he would know how to do this and get away with it) and this is a soap opera after all, nobody ever really stays dead on a soap ;)
Brent88 05-22-2005, 11:45 PM I just don't buy Rex being dead. When I first heard it was going to be him, I was expecting him to actually die(like Mama Solis), although it would be a peaceful sleep type thing. The fact that it cuts from the note to the phone call informing Bree looks like foreshadowing to me.
gOoSe 05-23-2005, 12:54 AM popping in, since i havnt posted for awhile..
I like the plot twist idea concerning Rex and his 'death'....
I have to ask, Was that Ryan Carnes or another actor? He didnt look right..besides the obvious punch-bruise..
tvfan0101 05-23-2005, 07:16 AM Hmm, maybe Rex isn't dead afterall? Maybe he told the doctor to tell Bree that he is, after realizing that Bree probably did this to him.
I was thinking that also. I certainly hope Rex is not gone for good.
Was anyone else just a little disappointed at how much this episode simply TOLD us rather than SHOWED us? The entire opening segment and all the Mary Alice voiceovers seemed a bit too much like reading a plot synoposis. This is what happened... blah blah... this is what I did... blah blah... this is what happened next...
I reckon I just have a problem with the way some of the mysteries are solved.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 09:23 AM Well Steven Culp was on GMA and pretty much said he is dead on the show. Marc Cherry told him right before the script came out. He didn't sound like he faked it or anything.
The deleted scene was the wives in the hospital with Bree and they continue talking about Mrs. Huber blackmailing Mary Alice, come to the conclusion that Mrs. Huber was killed as revenge for Mary Alice's death, then all say Paul did it. Then they speak up and said, well if she did that(Mrs. Huber), good riddance.
spunkygirl 05-23-2005, 09:27 AM Anyone have the ratings for this episode? :)
Pavan 05-23-2005, 10:15 AM Some of the questions that will be answered this fall:
Was Mike, the boyfriend of Susan (Teri Hatcher), just moments from being shot by Mary Alice's unhinged son, Zach?
Did Rex, husband of Bree (Marcia Cross), really die from heart disease on the eve of his surgery, as his doctor reported to Bree or was this some sort of ruse by the doctor, who figures her to be the culprit behind Rex's illness?
Would John, the hunky yard boy, survive the jealous rage of Carlos after confessing to his affair with Carlos' wife, Gabrielle (Eva Longoria)?
How would stay-at-home mom Lynette (Felicity Huffman) survive back in the working world after her angry husband Tom quit his job and demanded to be a stay-at-home dad? (Lynette had sabotaged Tom's big promotion, jealous that he was getting too cozy with a sexy co-worker.)
And, by the way, why would Betty (new cast member Alfre Woodard) be so rash as to purchase a home on Wisteria Lane sight unseen as her real estate agent, dishy Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) asked her in wonder.
It was a jam-packed hour for the series, which all season has kept viewers riveted with its arch exploration of blackmail, murder, adultery and sexy sisterhood in the 'burbs.
But the finale's big revelation was courtesy of Mary Alice (Brenda Strong), who had shot herself to death in the first episode and has since served as its from-the-grave narrator.
Fifteen years ago, the wife and husband who would become Mary Alice and Paul were a childless couple when a junkie, Dierdre, sold them her infant son (born Dana). But three years later, after they had fled to a new life on Wisteria Lane and assumed new identities, Dierdre tracked them down meaning to reclaim the child, whom they had renamed Zach.
The big surprise: After riled-up Dierdre went on the attack, it was Mary Alice, not the creepy, long-suspected Paul, who stabbed her to death. And it was she who talked Paul into dismembering the body and stuffing it in their child's toy chest, which was buried in their yard.
This brought full circle the mystery that had simmered since the premiere, when Paul was spied recovering the chest after his wife's suicide.
Also in the finale, Susan's boyfriend Mike, a sexy plumber who had arrived on Wisteria Lane covertly investigating the murder of Dierdre (his former girlfriend!), was just about to punish Paul for the deed. But Paul convinced him Mary Alice had done it, and in self-defense.
Mike left him unharmed, then returned home to a possible ambush by pistol-packing Zach.
"It's an odd thing to look back on the world," Mary Alice then summed up in a somber voiceover, "to watch those I left behind, each in her own way so brave, so determined and so very desperate."
Now fans are a bit desperate themselves, waiting for the show's return this fall with new episodes and new answers.
Pavan 05-23-2005, 10:56 AM Early Ratings Report:
Desperate Housewives: Fast Nationals: 18.5/28; Overnights: #1, 20.4/29; Viewers: #1, 30.03 million; A18-49: #1, 13.3/31
Grey’s Anatomy: Fast Nationals: 14.1/23; Overnights: #1, 15.0/23; Viewers: #1, 22.77 million; A18-49: #1, 10.0/25
13.3/31 in adults 18-49 is amazing!! That beat CSI's season finale and Raymond's series finale! While CSI's last half hour had 35 million viewers, the entire CSI finale averaged 30 million, so DH did the same!
Brent88 05-23-2005, 11:05 AM That's INCREDIBLE and better than I was expecting.
Christopher 05-23-2005, 11:27 AM I expected better. Rex probably didn't die, we never got to see Bree and Rex's kids through that story, and all we got after waiting all season for Carlos's reaction to Gabrielle's affair was that one court scene. I guess that's how they want us to watch the next season, so we can see the fallout of everything that happened last night. I will say this about the finale, Marcia's acting was better than ever. She deserves an award more than any of the other actresses in my opinion. I am glad Doug Savant will be a regular next season. Now as his character has no life, we can see Lynette do more things and give Felicity a chance to show off her acting skills. I wish we could have seen more of Alfre's acting last night. I think her characters son will have a fling with Edie. I got that feeling last night as they looked at each other.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 11:47 AM I agree with you there... Marcia was stellar last night.
Didn't see much of Gabrielle and Lynette at all. I am glad Lynette will be going back to work though. The husband-always-on-the-road-mother-can't handle it-pill-popper was getting very old.
Can't wait to see Tom handling the holy terrors that are their children. :p According to spoilerfix, a British soap star has been signed on to be a nanny next season so that tells me something happens and Tom can't handle it.

I said a couple of month ago that DH's finale would probably beat everything else, wow can't believe I was right
sonyab 05-23-2005, 12:27 PM I don't even know how to start this. I'm in shock!
The Young Family: WOW! Just WOW! That's all I can say at the moment because I'm in shock. *GASP*
Bree and Rex: When Rex was in the hospital again and Bree was there it reminded me a little of Melrose place. I liked what she said. The best is yet to come. But it's not true because Rex died.. I'm in shock with that too. Did Rex kill himself? Great Rex died thinking his wife tried to poison him! When the doctor called Bree about Rex passing away my jaw dropped. I was in such shock. Then when Bree was crying at the table I started to cry. Why did Rex have to die? I really liked him.. :( NO REX NO! :(
Zak and Felicia: Woah he beats her up cus he wants to know where his dad is.. unbelievable!!!
Zak and Susan: Where did Zak get that gun? Poor Susan wow! Then when Mike shows up what's going to happen? Will Zak shoot Mike? So many shocking moments..
The Applewhites: Seems like the new neighbors have their own secrets that they don't want anybody to know. Hmmmm what kind of secrets? :)
Gabby and Carlos: I still hate this storyline but what she said to Carlos about how HE will be taking care of the baby was funny. Then him asking her about breastfeeding ROFL. Then Carlos threatens the gardener right out in court? Woah wasn't smart.. :)
Tom and Lynette: Woah Tom is very upset you can see it in his face.. (very good acting on his part) So Lynette's going to go back to work.. Hey that's what she has wanted to do for so long.. :) Go ahead Lynette go back to work. :) Let Tom handle the kids. :)
You know when Bree made the bed when Rex was having a heart attack? Well that's a true story. If anybody doesn't know this Marc Cherry said that his mother did that to his father when he was a kid. His father had a heart attack every year so his mother made the bed before she took him to the hospital. I read it in a tv guide and also Marc Cherry was on the view and said it.. Yikes wow! That's shocking. Oh and did anybody watch the guy who plays carlos on the view? I think he was on Ellen Degenerous show too but anyway he doesn't have his goatee.. Wow he looks hot without it. :) I can't wait to see good morning america to see the cut scenes.. :)
I love this show!!!! :)
Coffeecup 05-23-2005, 01:46 PM I was sort of hoping George died. I don't like him. He's creepy. I wonder if Bree will find out he's behind Rex's demise. The Applewhites seem a little cold. Boy does Edie have sexy outfits. I hear the same episode will run again in a few days.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 02:16 PM The finale re-airs Saturday at 10 and then the Pilot Sunday at 9.
James"Thunder"Early 05-23-2005, 03:20 PM Rex is not dead or otherwise they would have showed him. he'll most likely show up at the beginning of next season.
James"Thunder"Early 05-23-2005, 03:22 PM I agree with you there... Marcia was stellar last night.

Can't wait to see Tom handling the holy terrors that are their children. :p According to spoilerfix, a British soap star has been signed on to be a nanny next season so that tells me something happens and Tom can't handle it.I heard about the British soap star. her name is Kacey Ainsworth and she plays on EastEnders and she's a good actress.
Caffeine King 05-23-2005, 05:03 PM How can people say the Applewhites are cold, creepy, etc when all we saw of them was not letting Edie into their house and telling them that they like it just fine.
I know they have a backstory that we'll see next season but I thought it was normal. :p I wouldn't want annoying Edie in my brand new house either.
my prediction: they have a dead body in there.
I was disappointed about Tom... dang it, what happened to the (I guess I can reveal now) other family plot???
Somebody mentioned George dying....did he? I must've missed that (or they said they WISHED he had died) so which is it...is George dead?
gOoSe 05-23-2005, 05:17 PM How can people say the Applewhites are cold, creepy, etc when all we saw of them was not letting Edie into their house and telling them that they like it just fine.
...because ABC.com has a picture of the applewhites feeding something.... from supposedly a cut scene.

 a pitbull perhaps?
I think it would've been a bit strange if they showed that.
How did they get a door like that in a suburban basement? Do they usually have seperate rooms in basements in suburb houses?
Nicollete Sheridan's face looked messed ugly (again) it was going back to looking normal now it looks hideous again.
I hope I'm not the only one who thinks Alfre Woodard looks like Willona from Good Times! (I thought that too when I saw Beauty Shop; I was planning on sneaking into Sin City again, btw.)
Brent88 05-23-2005, 05:42 PM Caffeine King, remember back when Tom's father was caught with the other woman in their house? Tom told his dad he had a secret, well, at that time, producers were planning for his secret to be some kind of second family/wife(which would explain his being gone from Lynette half the time). Apparently an ABC exec wanted to perserve his integrity(so they could have 1 half normal husband  ) so the stay-at-home dad thing is now the plot and will be the prevaling one next season(apparently).
Brent88 05-23-2005, 05:45 PM ...because ABC.com has a picture of the applewhites feeding something.... from supposedly a cut scene.
There is SOMETHING in that attic or whatever it is. I could tell they were creepy before that though when after Edie left the son said "People sure are friendly here" and then the mother was like "Yes", in a bad way. Plus, your not living on Wisteria Lane unless you have a messed up secret, and we know they have a secret since the producers theirselves have already told her and the son what it is. It's awful is all I know.
This just gives me the creeps. Maybe they are hiding Rex up there? :rotflmao:

No. We didn't even see George(except when he changed the pills in the "Previously On").

Yep I remember that, wasn't there supposed to be a scene where this kid comes up to Lynnette or something or she overhears another kid call Tom "dad" I was thinking about that last night, that they must have changed that.
Caffeine King, I thought Nicollette looked great last night, although I thought in last week's episode that Edie's boobs were gonna pop out of her shirt

My impression up til that scene was over last night was that those kids would somehow know Tom as "dad"(whether they were ACTUALLY his, or he was living with their mother). I thought the "changing the plot" was misdirection since almost everything else that happened was already out.
Edie looked a little strange when she rushed over to Susan's after Felicia was attacked in broad daylight and I loved that scene. "Stick it up my... WHAT?" and then "Just get the hell out of here"
The court scene was hilarious too... I don't know why, just the way it played out.

I thought the same thing when she saw the kids with Tom, I was thinking "that must be his other family" I thought for sure one of those kids would call him dad. I'm kinda glad they didn't go there, cause I like Tom, and I wouldn't want to look down on him for this ;)
Yeah that scene she did look bit funny
Well the promos said that someone was dying for sure in the season finale and Rex was the only one who died...
Brent88 05-23-2005, 07:22 PM Well the promos said that someone was dying for sure in the season finale and Rex was the only one who died...
So? That doesn't mean he can't be alive in the Season 2 premiere. It's ONLY a TV show. :p
If they had showed us a flatlined monitor, I would have believed it. But they didn't.
spunkygirl 05-23-2005, 07:31 PM Tonight's Access Hollywood, Teri told Steven Culp she'd miss him :(
Ooh they said the same thing on AH, that it could be a ruse(Rex's death) too  ;)

Awww how disapointing. :( That would have been an awesome secret to have.. I was looking forward to finding out his secret. I was wondering weather or not he had another family. damn. :( so what is his secret going to be? :(

Steven Culp even said he was dead, BUT Season 2 hasn't started filming yet, so they could just call him up a week before they film the premiere and tell him "Oh your not dead". Over the summer no one but us fanatics will be watching the spoilers anyway.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 07:44 PM ROFL. What was susan actually mouthing? I couldn't read her lips ROFL.

Annabel.

Well... and the quitting of the job.

Caffeine King 05-23-2005, 08:09 PM ROFL. What was susan actually mouthing? I couldn't read her lips ROFL.
I thought she was trying to tell Edit to get help and that "Zach has a gun on my back" and that's why she looked so :( when Edie misunderstood her.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 09:10 PM I thought she was trying to tell Edit to get help and that "Zach has a gun on my back" and that's why she looked so :( when Edie misunderstood her.
I think so too... that's why she was mouthing it, so Zack wouldn't hear her.
Is it Zack or Zach BTW?
Pavan 05-23-2005, 09:15 PM More up to date numbers:
DH: Total Viewers 30.8 million; 18-49 Rating: 13.5/31
In comparison...
CSI Finale: Total Viewers: 30.73 million; 18-49 Rating: 10.6/28
Raymond Series Finale: Total Viewers: 32.94 million; 18-49 Rating: 11.2/26
American Idol Wednesday 18-49 Rating: 11.8/29
So, DH will come #2 in total viewers and #1 for 18-49. Households for DH will probably be 18.6/28. CSI had a 18.5/30; Raymond had a 20.2. So either tied for 2nd with CSI or soul possesion for 2nd place in households.
Caffeine King 05-23-2005, 09:17 PM Is it Zack or Zach BTW?
I think it's spelled Zach. I'm not sure I usually see people spell their name (if their name is that) like Zack.
Brent88 05-23-2005, 10:28 PM I just watched the Susan/Edie scene again and, while I am not a lipreader, I'm 99% certain she mouths "Zach is sticking a gun to my back" and then Edie says "Stick it up my... WHAT?"

*MIBabe03* 05-24-2005, 09:03 AM I know it's too early to talk about next season, but I'm thinking that Edie and Brandon, the new neighbor boy, might hook up or something. I mean they were eyeing each other when Edie went to the house. Plus, it's Edie and she's a ho.

I've also heard that (spoiler) Edie will have an affair with Mike next season. It's just a rumor for now though.
I think she could get involved with both. :rotflmao:Or maybe have a threesome.
OK... that's enough. :p
sonyab 05-24-2005, 02:58 PM Well my shock wore off.. :) So I'm fine now.. I thought Paul killed Deidra but it was really Mary Alice.. So who chopped her up? It was Mary Alice's idea but who really did it? Zak saw the body and he saw the blood so yeah that would tramatize him. He never got therapy so yeah no wonder he is acting the way he acts. Susan's ex husband looks like Paul. :) Great show! Love it can't wait until next season.. :) At the end of the show I thought there was going to be a gun shot. There wasn't whew.. :) if i had to hear a gunshot it would drive me nuts!!! :)
I taped good morning america and saw the desperate housewives cut scene and the guy who plays Rex.. It was all cool.. :)
Caffeine King 05-24-2005, 07:57 PM I heard that next season Edie has an estranged former husband (or was it boyfriend) and a six year old son with him.
It was in some article or an interview...it also mentioned that next season Lynette would be going back to work next season. So the Edie thing must be true too.

Yes... she does have a 6 1/2 year old son who will appear next season(not sure about the father of the child). It seems like she was married before(she IS a slut afterall  ), but I can't be sure.
and yes... Lynette is going back to work. British soap star Kacey Ainsworth will be a Nanny for a few episodes(at least). Tells me Tom can't handle it.

I was wondering about this. After watching the whole first season again this past week, it was in either the first or second episode (whichever ep that Edie's house burned), Mrs. Huber mentioned something about babysitting Edie's son, then for the rest of the season there wasn't any mention of the son. I'm glad that'll be something they'll pursue this season as opposed to mentioning it once and not bringing it up again.
