Let's take a break from talking about ratings and cancellation matters for a moment. Please help me with the following questions:

1. Are Helen's parents still alive? Do we ever see them in the show?

2. Did we ever find out about Danny O'Connor's MIA brother in Vietnam?

3. Do the Pryor's live in West Philadelphia? Isn't that mostly a black neighborhood today?

4. Did the 1964 presidential election ever figure into the show's second season at all. I assume all the Pryors and Walkers voted for LBJ, but did anybody ever make a passing comment about that election?

Good questions, New AD Fan.
1. I don't ever remember Helen's parents being mentioned.
2. I don't remember anyone ever saying anything else about what happened to Danny's brother that was MIA.
3. I don't know anything about Philly today. Isn't it East Catholic that Meg goes to? Wouldn't you think that would mean they lived in East Philly? I'm thinking that I did some reasearch one time on the computer and the real Catholic school back in the 60's was called West Catholic. I think I was looking on an American Bandstand website.
4. I don't remember anyone talking about the 1964 election either.
I have a question. Did Beth's Mother ever get to see Trip? I can't imagine in real life, her Mother not wanting to see that baby. I'm a Grandma...I know.

Pretty positve they confirmed the MIA brother was dead, didnt it happen the night before JJ's wedding? It seems JJ was at the bar with the guys and the younger brother of the MIA guy came in and was all upset.

It was mentioned. Drew asked Meg something, and she said Goldwater was crazy, and he asked which opinions of his made him crazy, and she said all of them. It was the scene at the indoor pool at Penn. I can't remember which episode though.
