What do you think would have been some good plotlines for Season 4? Make up your own....don't use any of the ones that actually were developed when they thought they were renewed.

Avoding use of actual "cecbrities" like Bobby Vinton who was prposed (I actually like that stuff a lot but it would be a tad "dated" for later GI fans) and keeping them ON THE ISLAND_-would WILE E. catch the ROADRUNNER? Would TOm the cat ever xatch Jerry the Mouse?Don't ask!

AFter the Professor tries using a BOM, Skipper wakes up and finds it was a nightmare--the ONYTL instance of as nightmare taking up an ERNTIRE epsiode, being set in the present time of the show (1964-67) and not being shown as a dream 'till ther last minute (compare THE FLINTSTONES's "Pebbly-poo and Bamm Bamm singing" episode)

SDKIPPER'S SNOZZLE. Forgot Gilligan's. JimmY Durante arrives on the island and accidnetally trips into Skipper, who trips over the legendary comedian and get s a shhockingly sized nose.Must be catching. Thbe Professor,in a SURE j Shark moment, has Durante and Skipper do a vaudeville dance with Ginger that takes away the swelling. DOn't ask how.Personally I prefer A NOSE BYA NY OTHER NAME or the BRady;s THE SUBJECT WAS NOSES. OOH MY NOSEDE!Durante plays himself.A special graphicv has Durante's icon (SPECIAL CASTAWAY.>JIMMY DURANTE)

BETTY GRABLE ON GILLIGAN'S ISLAND-The perffect blend of GInger and Mary Ann arrives to recreate then 25 year old WWII memories, and when cannibals come on the island, they start going after the castways till they get a look at those elgs (Grable died about five years later,1973). This attractive World War II actual pinup will get iour her own "steerwing wheel graphgic" with the famous wartime pinup.

THE DANDY LOOKIN ' CLOTHIER--Paul Lynde's his hilarious self as welways when he lands on the island, away from HOLLYWOOD SQUARES and BEWITCHED as he plays the Howell's sociaite friend in the Wall Str Journal and costumer, and his mincing embarrases a HOWELL. HOW VULGAR

As you can see, almost all have guest stars on the island.Later I will tihnk of more lookalike eposiodes (four of those castaways didn't get any..I wonder what it would be like if a episode for ONCE had Gilligan, Skipper & The Professor in DIFFERENT clothes than suual!!)

Steve has some good ideas. I could never think of more than one at a time. Here's mine:
Gilligan sees Green
Gilligan sees an unusual object in the night sky and thinks it's a flying saucer. The Skipper admits he's seen some weird things while in the Navy. The Professor explains it as a shooting star or weather balloons or something. Ginger relates her experience in her movie: "Bug Eyed Monsters from Beyond". Mr. Howell wonders how he could make money from it. That night Gilligan dreams outer space aliens have landed and need females to take back to their planet. Mary Ann, Ginger and Mrs. Howell are taken to a spaceship and while trying to rescue them the Skipper, the Professor and Mr. Howell are hit with a paralyzing ray. However the ray doesn't work on Gilligan. The aliens are fearful of Gilligan and explain to him the ray won't affect extra intelligent beings. They do as Gilligan commands and he saves the day. As he's explaining to the others how he managed his feat, he falls over at the same time falling out of his hammock on to the Skipper. Awakening an upset Skipper he sheepishly explains he was having a dream. When asked what he dreamt about, Gilligan gets to the part about the ray and says "just forget it."

Gilligan & the professor meet a witchdoctor(Eddie Little Sky) with a misterious rock in the jungle.The native explains that this rock iif they take the rock outside of the cave something dangerous will happen.Of course,the professor won't beleave him and he takes the rock anyway.As the same time that Gilligan try to stop him,a strange glow appears above them))))))))))))))))The witchdoctor runs away laughing:)They both faint,they wake up.They got their personalities switched))))))))))))))))))
