does anyone remember the name of arnold's goldfish. my grandmother and i are having an argument. I thought it was abraham, but she thinks it's name was arnold. and - did that goldfish live throughout the entire series? please help us!

The goldfish's name was Abraham.

I don't remember what season it was but he died during the run of the series.

Are you sure Abraham died because I remember Sam talking to Abraham as well. I know goldfish only last a couple of months in real life, but I just don't recall an episode surrounding his death.

I'm pretty sure but it has been a long time since I saw it. Maybe they got another goldfish and they named it Abraham.

Yes it died and they tried to get a new fish and repalce it off as Abraham. Arnold looked into the fish bowl and said that ain't Abraham. They said how do you know? He said Abraham swimms sort of like this and showed them.

Goldfish that are properly taken care of(which most are not properly taken care of) can live up to 30 years.

I have 3 goldfish that I gotten in 1985 and they are all still alive.
