When Sammy first appeared in 1972 Archie was not as mellow and calm and his reaction to Sammy Kissing him was classic.


But when Sammy returned in 1982, Archie had grown more as a person and this time at the end of the episode Archie kissed Sammy. Very well written episode.



BTW: Sammy's 2nd visit was on Archie Bunker's Place not All in the Family.

I would have to agree with that. :)
