View Full Version : N@N's treatment of WTB is annoying
TVFactFan 05-14-2005, 11:47 AM I saw the summer marathon schedule for N@N and can you believe that both marathons are scheduled for 2am to 6am? WTF is up watching TV that late? I know I can just record it on my other VCR but I would stil prefer to just watch a WTB marathon once a week at 10pm to 2am. I guess the highr rated shows get the 10p-2am slots like Fresh Prince, Roseanne, and Cosby Show.
EmoJoe 05-14-2005, 12:08 PM Its because N@N treats any show thats not Roseanne, Fresh Prince, or Full House like crap.
TVFactFan 05-14-2005, 12:20 PM N@N is treating WTB like a redheaded step child in K-Mart-LOL
spunkygirl 05-14-2005, 01:07 PM LOL yep if it doesn't bring in big ratings then they don't give a fig newton about it. Notice how they NEVER promote the show anymore

Has WTB ever been in the 10pm-1am timeslot on N@N? If not then I know why the ratings were not as good as Full House. Put Full House on at 2am in the morning and see how it does.
N@N Summer Marathon's this season looks like they were scheduled in a hurry. No variety at all.

Last year it aired for the marathon from the 10-1am slot, and they aired WTB at 10 pm when it first came on N@N

You mean The Cosby Show.. they show that a lot too. Full House is show twice. 9-10PM & 5-6AM.. expt on Tuesday because of 'Fatherhood'.
Full House is another favorite of mine. But the others esp Fresh Prince and Roseanne are shown like there's no tomorrow!!! Grrrr....
spunkygirl 05-15-2005, 05:34 PM Actually Cosby's not shown nearly as much as it used to be. Is it on twice a night anymore? I dont think it is. Just Roseanne, Fresh Prince, and Full House overload
James"Thunder"Early 05-15-2005, 05:54 PM I can only speculate that WTB isn't doing as well as Nick at Nite thought it would in the ratings, so it's marathon isn't high priority and is being used as filler for 2:00-6:00 am spot. Nick at Nite is just waiting for it's lease to expire and doesn't really care about it anymore.
spunkygirl 05-15-2005, 05:58 PM Yeah they only care about shows that are already aired on 3 or 4 other networks
USTVFanFromUK 05-15-2005, 06:06 PM Come on guys, at least they haven't treated as bad as Murphy Brown. Murphy Brown gets the worst treatment of any N@N show. I do agree though, WTB and other shows should be given better slots, but it's all down to ratings these days. I think N@N should do away with all double takes.
Out of Full House, Cosby, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne, Full House is the one I like most. I can take or leave the others. I also like Who's The Boss too and agree with what you all say about Nick@Nite treating it poorly. I wish that it were shown in a better time slot and not hacked to only one episode a night. I've seen every episode many times but it's just one of my favorites and I never grow tired of the reruns.
Hi all, I receive DirecTV and get a monthly guide in the mail called Satellite Direct, which lists all of Directv's programming for the entire month. Well, I was checking what they had listed for Nick@Nite and for the month of June, Who's The Boss? isn't even listed. :( Sop I wonder if this means that Nick@Nite won't be showing it in June. This sucks.
spunkygirl 05-16-2005, 03:48 PM Not sure about June, but it will be part of N@N's Summer Marathon blocks starting in July, though they're gonna air it from 2-6 am
Check the general sitcoms discussions and questions board and there's a thread there with the schedule :)
Oh wait, it's listed for June in my guide, I had just overlooked it. :o It's still scheduled for 12 am central time, so I guess 1 am for those of you on eastern time. I'm so glad it's still scheduled. :) :) :) :) :)
tiff7 05-17-2005, 12:40 PM I wish seasons 2 & 3 would come 2 dvd this year-they should have been out last year. Not having WTb on Nick @ Nite makes me want 2 send N@N some nasty emails ASAP asking them 2 put WTB on a decent time (hoe bout 8-10 pm cst, NOT 1 am What is taking Sony sooo long 2 put WTB season 2 on dvd? AUGHHHHH
Tiff7
 about sending Nick@Nite the nasty emails, and I agree too that they should get seasons 2 and 3 out on dvd.
According to the May thread over on the General Discussions board, WTB? will only be seen at 3:30 in the morning.  :( :(

But a show with a fat dirty overweight mother and father gets a nice time slot.
Excellent point! Who's the Boss? is a much better show for families ot tune into. But sadly most families are going to be asleep at 3 in the morning. :(
EmoJoe 06-11-2005, 03:27 PM Has WTB ever been in the 10pm-1am timeslot on N@N? If not then I know why the ratings were not as good as Full House. Put Full House on at 2am in the morning and see how it does.
Yeah- it was up until Sept 2004
But I agree, what show does good at 2 AM??!?! And the ratings originally werent even bad at all, they just weren't FP ratings. But it wasnt doing horrible.

No actually, TCS hasnt been on that much. Probably cause people got sick of it and now N@N is wondering why it doesnt pull in huge ratings anymore  Same thing will eventually happen to FP, Roseanne, and FH.
EmoJoe 06-12-2005, 03:31 PM Actually Cosby's not shown nearly as much as it used to be. Is it on twice a night anymore? I dont think it is. Just Roseanne, Fresh Prince, and Full House overload
Yeah TCS is getting the crap treatment now- it isnt even promoted anymore.
Brian Damage 06-26-2005, 12:54 AM It baffles me that N@N spends all this money on certain sitcoms and within a month, buries them.
Pavan 06-26-2005, 01:03 AM They got Who's the Boss cheap from The Program Exchange. No where near the high amount they paid for shows like Cheers and Three's Company.
EmoJoe 07-11-2005, 05:33 PM The bad thing is it doesn't look like we'll be getting Season 2 on DVD either
SBTB Geek 07-14-2005, 11:35 PM At least they aren't as bad as ABC Family!
EmoJoe 07-15-2005, 01:21 PM At least they aren't as bad as ABC Family!
Actually they're probably worse...
