View Full Version : Lost Episode???? s 06-26-2001, 10:08 PM My friend a huge Bewitched & I Dream of Jeanie fan said there is a episode where there is a cross-over between the 2 shows. Does anyone know if this is true? & If so where I can get a tape? reply to slg857030@hotmail.com Geoff 02-17-2002, 05:38 AM Someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Although both series were "Screen Gem" productions and filmed at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, the only other similarities are some production personnel and the fact that both shows had their house facades on the Neighbourhood backlot of the Columbia Ranch in Burbank. In later years this facility was taken over by Warner Brothers and is now now as the Warner Ranch. Both series are distributed Worldwide by Columbia/Tri-Star Television. SitcomChick 02-19-2002, 03:11 PM That's a shame a BeWitched/Jeannie crossover never happened - I bet it would've been amusing to watch. ~*Hannah_Lee*~ 04-09-2002, 09:03 PM Even though there may not be an episode about it, someone had written a story about it. You can find it at www.geocities.com/carpet65/ :happyface Bat65 04-12-2002, 10:13 PM The Bellows lived in Samantha and Darrins house. There were a few episodes where they filmed the inside if the house, and the set was re-decorated, but you could still tell it was the Stevens res. "One of Our Bottles is Missing" is one, and "Whatever Happened to Baby Custer" is another. Ms Garthe Knight 07-29-2002, 09:00 AM If you walk out of Major Nelson house on to the path and turned right you could see Samantha and Darrin's house. Episodes to watch out for is " Have You Heard About The one Used-Car Saleman" When Jeannie is in the drvie way and she has just put he foot on the gas and Major Nelson trying to stop her look down the street. Arfies 05-18-2003, 04:41 PM There are 3 BW/IDOJ crossovers in fan fiction that I know of. You can find them here: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55163 Just Popped In 05-18-2003, 05:09 PM [QUOTE] Originally posted by Arfies: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=730036 Where did you find that pic? Ms Garthe Knight 05-18-2003, 07:09 PM Yeah I would like to know that too. It looks like before Barbara Eden's I dream of Jeannie days Arfies 05-18-2003, 09:34 PM That's from Milo's Dick York page at http://dickyork.freeservers.com/ . Through imdb.com , I found that the pic with Barbara Eden and Dick York is from a 1963 episode of "Rawhide"- "Incident at Confidence Creek". :) treky 06-05-2003, 01:02 AM Originally posted by Ms Garthe Knight If you walk out of Major Nelson house on to the path and turned right you could see Samantha and Darrin's house. TV Guy 06-05-2003, 01:59 PM Yes, exteriors for these shows were done at the Columbia (now Warner) ranch. Also living on the same street, so to speak, were the Partridges, the Baxters from "Hazel", Gidget and Russ Lawrence, the Andersons from "Father Knows Best", the Mitchells and the Wilsons from "Dennis the Menace", the Stones from "Donna Reed", and so on. You can check out the "neighborhood" at http://www.1164.com/. treky 06-06-2003, 02:20 AM "The Partridge Family" house (which was, I think, also the home for the Douglases in "My Three Sons") is no longer standing, thanks to the movie "Lethal Weapon". They needed a house to destroy in one scene, and, unfortunetaly, they used that one. Brandon 06-06-2003, 05:22 AM they couldn't really do a crossover. they were competing shows on 2 different networks. wouldn't work out. |
