I went to see the Padres take on the Giants last month. The Padres won that game. I'm going to Saturday's game against the Marlins. The Famous Chicken (an old San Diego fan favorite I've mentioned in the past) will make his first appearance at Petco Park. They're also giving away Famous Chicken posters to all fans in attendance.

The chicken isnt there all the time?? What is your mascot now?

I have not been to a game this year, and probably will not unless its via free tickets.

The Famous Chicken (or the San Diego Chicken when he is here) made an appearance in 2003 (a game that I attended) and he'll be here on Saturday. He's performed at a lot of major events, concerts, you name it.

And he wasn't and has never been known as the Padres mascot. He originated in San Diego so I probably got that confused.

We don't have the major leagues down here, but we do have 2 minor league baseball teams, a minor league arena football team, and a minor league hockey team. I go often to the games.

The Staten Island Yankees (a single A minor league team) star thier season at the end of June, so I'll be checking them out a bunch of times this summer.
