I have spoke to several people from here and I would not say that I was taken back on how different they sounded compared on how I thought they would...Kate has a kick ass Texan accent that is absolutely adorable, she sounds like a southern belle :)

We exchanged some stuff in June 2004 and she sent me a handwritten letter then. She didn't write a lot, but she wrote in cursive on the envelope and in print in her letter, so I got to see what it looked like when she did both. So purdy! :biglove:

Sounds like my dad!!! :lol: He'd say and so the same thing. I remember I was 15 when the summer Olympics were in Montreal and we were there. My parents would walk about 6 paces behind me down the street (I was trading country pins with the athletes) and my dad years later told me how he actually got a kick watching reactions. He was proud of his little girl! :lol:

First thing I think of whenever I recall being a little kid in the 80's/early 90's is the HUGE hair.

I know this sounds crazy, but I liked seeing gals with big hair back then. It made them look like they had more volume in their hair. :lol:

Actually - I can't wait for it to come back - I'm so tired of straightening my hair all the time! It was so much easier to take care of for about a decade until the straighter look came back! :lol: Plus the dreaded humidity of the summer is coming back - yuck! :rolleyes:

I really hope it does! I don't like straightening my hair either! It takes me at least an hour. I just want to wear my hair naturally curly, and leave it that way.

My hair used to frizz a lot in the last town I lived in...It was the damn water. Thank God those days are over! :lol: Now it only frizzes anymore if it's extremely humid. :D

Seriously - I look like Howard Stern in humid weather!!! It was even worse in the seventies when I was a teen -- long, straight hair was in and there wasn't the mousse and gels there are now - you just hoped your conditioner helped without making it look greasy.

If you've ever seen the 2 part ep of Friends in the Bahamas, and Monica's hair each day - that's EXACTLY what mine does!

What sucks about my hair is it doesn't even get curly- it just has fly aways. When my hair was down to my butt it never got fly aways but now that it is layered..argh. Seriously my hair looks like some male hippie's hair.
