There's a sound clip on the "N" page of sitcomsonline.com of a lengthy, fully orchestrated version of the Newhart theme... does anyone know where it came from?

I'd like to get a slightly higher quality (and properly licensed) version to play in my car on my trip to Vermont next month.

....that it came from one of Henry Mancini's albums, since he wrote and recorded the theme exclusively for the show in the first place (and one of the few composers in the business to get credit for that IN the opening title).
I don't know what album he recorded the full version for, though......?

....Mancini DID record a full version of the "NEWHART" theme for a 1994 CD called "Premier Pops" [Denon Records], conducting the Royal Philharmonic Pops Orcherstra. I don't know if this recording is the one Sitcoms Online uses, but this is probably your "best bet" in looking for it!
