I been seeing some TV LAND promotions of the Jeffersons season 3 DVD and just confused that this didn't happen with season 2. So i wonder why TV LAND is all of a sudden involved in promoting the Jeffersons on DVD. What other 2005 TV Show Releases has TV LAND promoted?

Yeah that could be. I just remember saying-"what that a promotion to buy the Jeffersons DVD?"

Isn't up to Sony to buy time to promote the DVD on networks? That might be why they waited.

I can't see that they would be promoting DVDs if they plan to have it come back soon. Since t.v. tends to cut scenes in order to fit in commercials, why would they want you to get the DVD rather than watching it on their network - they could actually lose audiences with DVD purchases since you're going to want the better quality, full episode without commericals rather than catching it on TV Land wouldn't you?

Well like I said, Sony buys the airtime to promote the DVD's, it's not up to TVLAND. I've seen commercials for TVDVDs of other shows on various networks, but The Jeffersons is probably being promoted more on TVLAND because of it being a "classic" tv show ;)
