ok i found out what was wrong with the error problem it wasnt the right disk. i needed -rw. now i just need help trying to figure out how to record vhs-dvd

There should be an "Easy Dub" button or something like that... whatever your wanting to copy should be in the VHS part and a blank DVD in the DVD part.

BTW: Your player should use both R and RW's... I'm a little confused on that.

well i got it figured out,took awhile but i got it and now starting to transfer my vhs's to dvds to clear more space and to get rid of my videos
