If CBS hadn't picked up the show for a 9th yr, then what do you guys think would have been a proper season 8 finale?

Maybe Eddie and Greta could have gotten married?

No that probably wouldn't have happened, maybe like a clip show or something.

Season 8 should have been season 9. Season 8 was so unneccessary. It would be more believable to have Laura fall in love with Steve in season 8 because of the prom episode in season 7. Also they should not have made Stefan into a separate person that just added unneccessary drama. And 3J would not have been introduced. Season 8 could have been Laura starting to have feelings for Steve and the finale could have been the weddinng and all of the characters could have come back. Also JoMarie Payton would have stayed on as Harriette.

Yeah, it would have been better if season 9 ideas, mainly Laura having feelings for Steve, was done in season 8, Jo Marie Payton would have been there, it would have made perfect sense because of the season 7 finale, and it still would have been on ABC, and unlike CBS, they would have given it a proper finale: the wedding of Steve and Laura. The 8th season was unneccesary with all of those strange plots.
