View Full Version : I Hate Teenagers!!
The Modfather 05-06-2005, 08:03 PM I know this thread has been made before, but I gotta rant somewhere.
Okay, I was at the mall today and first off these kids are throwing pennies at old people from the top floor and laughing hard and having a great time. The security guard came up and the kids told him to "**** off" and they got kicked out of the mall.
Later on in HMV (music store) these two guys and two girls are walking around and the guy says "Have you ever heard of Ray Charles?" the girl says "No" he says "He's some deaf guy that made music" the girl than says "Eww, he's old and black" that really ticked me off and led me to make this thread.
Please, share stories about todays dumb ass teenagers...
Ewan's My Man 05-06-2005, 08:10 PM lemme just say that i am one groovy teenager
but many other teenagers are immature and almost all of them piss me off, that's why i get along better with older people
*MIBabe03* 05-06-2005, 08:10 PM Not all of us are that bad. Granted, I'm 20, but still.
Rhiannon 05-06-2005, 08:37 PM lemme just say that i am one groovy teenager

ditto, but the parents of these kids must not be too bright either..
EmoJoe 05-06-2005, 08:42 PM Im gonna be a teen in June and I would NEVER do that. I hate a lot of kids around my age- none of my friends are like that but some other kids I know are.
Belair 05-06-2005, 08:49 PM I agree wholeheartedly.I'm sick of today's youth, dont get me wrong, not all,but the majority need a kick up the arse.
Mijada 05-06-2005, 08:51 PM I have 2 teenage nephews so I know how rude and obnoxious some teens can be. A couple years ago I was driving with my nephew Tim (about 15 at the time)who was in the passenger side. We saw some guy walking along the side of the road and before I knew what was happening Tim rolled down the window and screamed "Get a car *******!" I was so embarrassed and mad at him. I don't know why he does some of the stuff he does because his parents certainly didn't raise him that way. Other times though he can be just as sweet as can be. He's always telling me he loves me and kisses me goodbye and hello. Maybe he doesn't want outsiders to see his real side so he just tries to act tough.
PZelda 05-06-2005, 09:10 PM A couple of years ago when I was a senior in high school, this boy got into a car accident and slipped into a coma. It was a serious enough injury that he had to be airlifted to a hospital in Grand Forks...A LOT of his classmates and friends went to visit him over the week he was in the hospital. A couple of his friends were in one of my classes, and when they came back the next day, they were complaining about how they'd been caught drunk driving after they went to visit him in the hospital. GREAT example... That boy in particular passed away after being in a coma for a week.
I could tell you so many stories about where I used to live...They would make your hair curl. The parents up there honestly SUCK at parenting. ohno:
Caffeine King 05-06-2005, 09:59 PM 99% of teenagers/kids are ignorant, spoiled little suburban pieces of s*** who need to be thrown in the middle of a city in the middle of the night to learn a lesson (there are several kids at my school who I'd love to do that to.)
Later on in HMV (music store) these two guys and two girls are walking around and the guy says "Have you ever heard of Ray Charles?" the girl says "No" he says "He's some deaf guy that made music" the girl than says "Eww, he's old and black" that really ticked me off and led me to make this thread.
I hate the suburbs...alot.
dawsongirl 05-06-2005, 10:05 PM I hate the way the girls dress. I hate their ignornace about things from the past and what's going on in the world. I hate how their parents didn't teach them respect or how not to be rude. I hate how they drive like they have no care in the world. I hate the ones that are so dependent on others to entertain them.
Oh, I could go on forever. Then I could start in on adults.
dawsongirl 05-06-2005, 10:09 PM 99% of teenagers/kids are ignorant, spoiled little suburban pieces of s*** who need to be thrown in the middle of a city in the middle of the night to learn a lesson (there are several kids at my school who I'd love to do that to.)
I hate the suburbs...alot.
The suburban kids around here are the most stuck up pieces of **** I have ever seen...and it's all their parents' fault, because they are the same way. Sometimes I wish West Des Moines would just disappear.
MaydayMalonesGirl 05-06-2005, 10:09 PM I'm not even going to go into this. I hate the way that most teenagers act.
barwars 05-06-2005, 10:25 PM Suburbs are for losers. I think that's why I like Desperate Housewives so much, it shows how dumb suburbs are.
It's all about the city. From the streets, yo.
I know, Syracuse isn't much of a city, but living here is better than living in a suburb.
Hollow 05-06-2005, 10:40 PM I could go on about how much the majority of teenagers irritate the **** out of me, but allison's story reminded me of a year ago when two seniors at my school were killed in an accident, and when it was announced some kids spent the whole day talking to the grief counselors just to get out of class.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 05-06-2005, 10:53 PM I hate them, too. I'm constantly stating my hatred towards them and cannot wait until the day in which I am one no longer.
Courtnee 05-06-2005, 11:11 PM We're not all bad  . I'm 13 and do TONS of extra work at shcool.( like bake sales, choir,Honors english, ....) And If anyone doesn't know who Ray Charles is they need an ass whoopin'.
MsOrange 05-06-2005, 11:21 PM Teenagers do'nt suck... just certain people who happen to be teenagers do

MsOrange 05-06-2005, 11:25 PM Naw, teenagers definately just suck
glad i never was one
CollegeDropout 05-07-2005, 12:07 AM I love these threads that lump a whole group together...hah yah but anyways I'm a teenager from a suburb outside of Boston and although there is a lot of drinking and partying that goes on in my town, its not like we are a bunch of bad kids. I have found that most the kids in my town, have been raised properly by their parents, and being one of the best public schools in the states, kids are not ignorant enough to make stupid remarks. Obviously, there are exceptions, and we have problems at our school, but the majority of kids, even though they are spoiled, are smart enough not to do dumb ****. Like if someone was throwing pennies at an old man, kids from my town would just look at this person like they were an idiot. You can critize my post and say that I wrong, but I am letting you know what goes on in this town, and that no all teenagers are bad kids, and sometimes when few incidents occur it may cloud peoples judgement and have them create pre-concieved notions. Thus, is creating more sterotypes, which further perpetuates the cycle. All and all dont be hating.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 05-07-2005, 12:12 AM glad i never was one
You're damn lucky.
Hollow 05-07-2005, 12:51 AM Teenagers do'nt suck... just certain people who happen to be teenagers do
the majority of them do.
~*Emma*~ 05-07-2005, 01:57 AM Although I am a teenager, I have to admit the majority of us are ignorant, spoiled idiots. The war on terrorism, if that had've happened 30 years ago, there would've been protests by the youth left right and centre but my generation just doesn't seem to care. :( It makes me so sad. Not to mention the way we talk and the music we listen to...
I heard of one of my mum's friends daughters, after her 15th birthday party, she snuck out her window and caught the train into the city with some of her friends and got drunk. I just think she must be an inconsiderate little ***** tho because her parents are really nice and her mum's just had a baby.
Also, one of my mum's friends, friends sons, his only job is to mow the lawn once a week, and anyway, one week his dad asked him to do it and he just said "No way, f*** off!" Although they think that there's something going on at school with him, but then again that gets back to how the youth of today are idiots... :(

Nighthawk76 05-07-2005, 03:41 AM Though it has been nearly a decade since I was a teenager, I still remember what it was like and how many of peers acted. I was very often ashamed of people from my generation. They simply didn't seem to care about anyone besides themselves. I felt that when my generation grew up and began to run the world, that we were in a whole lot of trouble. Now looking back I see things slightly different. I realize now that back when I was a teen that there was some really good kids too. There were kids that were self centered and all that, but we certainly all were not like that.
I think the same thing can be said about teenagers today. A few spoiled apples doesn't mean that the whole batch is bad. That being said, I don't really like how teenagers dress today. I think teens should take a little more pride in the clothes that they wear. They should try to make the attempt to look a little bit nicer.
G-Force Glockstar 05-07-2005, 09:40 AM Teenagers can be real jerks! I would never do that, though!
Kristen J. 05-07-2005, 02:14 PM My sister is exactly like those teenagers. She'll be 19 on the 17th and really, she'll be turning 10! She thinks she's a punk and that she's so cool because she's been to rock concerts, wears black, and shares an apartment with her boyfriend. My parents and I think that she acts like life is just a game of "house". She has borrowed money from my parents, my grandmother, and even me and she spends it all on punk-rock clothes and music. When ever she comes to visit us, she'll sit on our couch, watch tv, play games on the computer, eat our food, and then she's out to go be with her "badass" friends. My parents try to tell her about the tough times they had when they were twentysomething's and living in apartments and low on money, and they try to help her, but she thinks that because it's 2005 and not the 70's, she can handle herself better. :rolleyes2 What the hell does that mean??
Anyway, I know that I would never act like my sister or those stupid idiots at the mall! They try to act cool, but no one is going to think that with the way they're acting!!
Belair 05-07-2005, 05:28 PM I was always a nerd teenager because I didn't smoke, drink or do weed.I also liked different music and tv shows to everyone else,so I was different.I dont think I ever was a teenager. From twelve onwards,I was a woman!

That doesn't mean you're a nerd! I don't do drugs (just not my type, lol) and I like some different things from other teens.
Sometimes it may be weird, but everyone's different.
EmoJoe 05-07-2005, 06:26 PM I was always a nerd teenager because I didn't smoke, drink or do weed.I also liked different music and tv shows to everyone else,so I was different.I dont think I ever was a teenager. From twelve onwards,I was a woman!

Same here. I was pretty much a huge loser. But looking back, all those people I went to school with can go to hell.
Karen* 05-07-2005, 10:30 PM I'm a teenager and I would never act like that and the rest of us won't, even though as you described, there will be some who can be real asses sometimes.
But it really pisses me off that the only things some teenagers talk about is partying, how much they drank, etc. Like that's something to be proud of. Dumbf***s.
TripperFan 05-07-2005, 11:22 PM Standing back and seeing what I have in the past few years, and from these boards, believe me, they're not all bad! Every single one of you guys has been a blast to converse with. You're intelligent, interesting people and are definitely NOT nerds!
Looking back, I was in between. I did go through a rebelious period (and depression) and was pretty much a real a$$hole back then. Its a long story as I'm sure everyone has so no need to bore. It wasn't until my mid twenties that I really started to realize what IS cool. I found myself instead of having the nightmare of dealing with the more difficult "cool" clique at work (yes - it exists there too sometimes), I was hanging with what would have been considered "nerds" in school that I never would have been caught dead with. I guess hormones and everything else settles down and so do they. (Or they go right off the deep end and end up with their a$$ in jail or dead).
I've also seen myself in a lot of you guys at your age. Not that opinions are wrong, but its amazing sometimes how they will change with you over time. Your priorities change. I swore I'd never end up being my mother, but alas, at 27 I actually caught myself seeing a young girl dressed a certain way and said out loud, "I'd never let MY daughter go out of the house looking like that"! It's funny really!
I guess a lot of teens can be idiots, but just like adults (only usually in different ways). I can honestly say though the majority of teens I've met lately have been a really great bunch! It's refreshing to see! And you guys rock!
G-Force Glockstar 05-07-2005, 11:56 PM I dont do those things and im not a nerd
I'm sord of a nerd, but not cause I don't do those things.

People make the biggest FOOLS of themselves when they casually go on and on about what kind of drugs they have and haven't done, which is their favorite, how often they get hangovers, things they've done when they were drunk. i don't care if they just talk about it, but they make themselves look so naive and stupid when they brag and make big public announcements about it.

I hate people like that!

UGH I KNOW this moron girl in studyy hall when I was in my old school kept going on about how she and her"gang" would sneak behind the school and do all sorts of drugs and she' said "I've tried sooooo many things but my favorite would have to be smoking it's just so much fun!" And I just said flatly "Wooooow you are SUCH a rebel" and I think she took that seriously.
TheGreatPretender 05-08-2005, 09:18 AM I hate to say it, but the majority of adults are almost just as bad.
Meh yer right. Teenagers are just more stupid.
Let's just say the majority of HUMANS all suck.

Oh god, I know! I was at school and this girl walks to me and says "Guess what?" I say "What?" she says "I had a whole 24 pack last night and got piss drunk with my friends, it was so fun!!!!" than she's laughing about it with her friends. Jesus, thats not something to be proud of.

CollegeDropout 05-08-2005, 03:05 PM although there are people who are dumb, I like to think of it as there are more people who do dumb things, like everyone makes mistakes, and through education and experiences they generally realize that they have made mistakes. I'm sure there are instances in everyones life when people smack themselves on the forward and say, "I cant believe I did/said that!" Give people the benefit of the doubt, there are a lot of good people in the world.
Superstar 05-08-2005, 03:20 PM around 99.9% of the people in my school are complete a*sholes. Most of them are immature and idiotic and just childish. They really should grow up a little
CheersChild4life 05-08-2005, 04:25 PM I'm a teenager, but I don't do stupid sh*t like that. I know people who get piss drunk and smoke weed, but I am not one of them. And 99% of the people I know aren't stoners or drunks, and barely any of us are considered losers. Sure there are some stupid ones, but you can't judge all of us by them. My sister is 17 and she is a total barbie doll, and she doesn't know a damn thing about what's going on in the world, but she has common decency and she isn't a bad person. So sure there are stupid kids, who do stupid things, but most of us aren't them.

exactly what i've believed this whole time.

More than half of my school are complete @$$holes.....it ticks me off!
I don't understand it, and I doubt I ever will, but all of the characteristics that you all listed for teenagers these days...just do not exist AT ALL with anybody at my school.
No one raves on and on about parties, hardly anyone smokes weed or drinks or anything like that, and quite frankly, I don't see too many of them as being stuck-up bitches and bastards. Last year, when I started 8th grade, that meant going to the junior high school (the school in our neighborhood serves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many people, so instead of going to JHS in 7th grade, we stayed at middle school, whereas the other neighborhoods' schools went to JHS for 7th grade), which, I expected, would mean meeting new bitches and bastards from the more...'posh' neighborhoods. Now I'm not saying that my neighborhood is bad or anything, but it's not really a suburban kind of neighborhood. It's more rural, yet suburban at the same time. Basically, our neighborhood doesn't have a name, yet the other ones do (you know, those calm, serene names like Homevale and Robinlake and Greenfield, though none of those exist).
But anyway, I expected these new students to be stuck-up, rich, and just plain bitches and bastards, but I was wrong. They were all just like me, it seemed, and I met some new friends.
So the moral of the story is...the suburbs aren't that bad, it's just the people who live in certain suburbs who are stuck-up, snooty bitches and bastards.
But if we start talking about Southern California...whew...
Chocoholic 05-09-2005, 02:59 PM I hated teenagers even back when I was a teenager. Some grow out if it; the rest become spoiled, obnoxious adults.

You are not supposed to let people with mental problems get to you. First of all, we know these teenagers whoever they are need medication anytime they are doing something like that.
