Does anyone remember a short-lived series "Spenser: For Hire" starring Robert Urich?

Yes I remember that show It allso had avery brooks (HAWK) who allso played in star trek DS9, Urich was a private eye in boston was it? i didnt watch the show alot because i worked when it was on and i didnt have a vcr back then, but i do love robert urich he was a very fine actor I did watch vegas when it was on and he was a private eye in that show too, and i did see love boat the next wave, wow I do miss robert alot i wish spenser would come out on dvd, and VEGA$ for that matter.

I love the series of books, though I will concede that the last few have seemed like the author was coasting.

Robert Urich was a little too smooth as Spenser, and Joe Mantegna a little too short. The best TV version would be a combo of both.

Can't wait until the TV series is out on DVD. :)

This was a great show. Both Robert Urich and Avery Brooks were great together. Hope its on DVD soon. :)

I used to watch that show, I was a big Spenser fan, I loved Robert Urich, he was the best Spenser of all time. I remember the theme song, it rocks, and the opening and closing credits of the show, and the logo too. I give that show a big 10. Long Live Spenser For Hire and Robert Urich.:)
