The Facts of Life crossover episode of "Diff'rent Strokes" is currently playing on Comcast on Demand ( if you have Comcast cable). Of course, we all know that is the episode where Mrs. Garrett visits Kimberly's school and gets a job there.

Pull up your Comcast on Demand menu on your screen, choose Cable Favorites, choose Tube Time, choose Diff'rent Strokes, and go through the descriptions of the episodes.

This episode is probably on the Diff'rent Strokes Season 1 DVD set.

Did I make any sense?

Just want to correct you, This was not a crossover episode because the Facts of Life had not premeired on NBC yet. The episode you watch was the pilot of Facts of Life.

True. That is what I was meaning. So if we ever get FOL on DVD I doubt this episode would get on. Sony isn't too big about extras on TV on DVD.

It looked like to me they were trying to make Blair look like a tough chick? She was sneaking a cigarette and what was up with those little shorts?

Yeah since that was a DS episode that probably wouldn't be on the FOL DVD.

You re absolutely right: to me the writers were trying out BLAIR to be the main character on the PILOT (her famous scene with MRS. G when she won t shake her hands, acts snotty & then start smoking behind the sofa ha ha) whereas NANCY (who was supposed to be the one) only had a rather pointless part as the "poor student" who had to leave school but managed to stay for her play.... I m glad they saw potential in the BLAIR character + she had a dynamic chemistry with MRS G lol!

Johnny be good!
