View Full Version : Interesting poll for ALL UM fans
pjpiazza 05-05-2005, 07:50 PM I was thinking since we are all fans of UM what type of UM would you most like to be a part of? Choose one of the following or pick one of your one:
a) witness a UFO
b) experience a haunting
c) be the key witness to a murder, crime
d) be abducted by aliens
e) witness a religious miracle
My apologies if this has been asked before. I'd pick all of them!
themaninblack 05-05-2005, 09:56 PM i would have to say either a miracle or the key witness to a murder
SP4CE INV4DERZ 05-05-2005, 10:53 PM I would say a) witness a UFO. I don't believe in them. In 2002 I was a key witness to a crime, A man gave an employee of mine (a minor) some drugs with a phone number to contact for more. The employee then gave me the drugs and so I contacted the police. They come, got our statements and that was it untill 18 months later they wanted me to testify at the supreme court. And that wasn't a good thing, 18 months later I knew the basics of what happened but in time you forget the minor things. I went to court on the basis of my 2nd statement 18 months later which I forgot a few minor things eg. I can't remember exactly what I had done with the drugs once she gave them to me. Anyways, I was kinda made to feel like I was guilty.
-TRANCE- 05-06-2005, 12:20 AM I'd like to witness a UFO
CrushedVelvet 05-06-2005, 01:50 AM I definitly would like to experience a haunting. :D
KyooMac 05-06-2005, 12:34 PM UFO without a doubt, I've witnessed crimes before. Justice takes too long and the waiting to solve an UM would be too much to take!
Blackout 05-07-2005, 02:49 PM abducted by an alien
that would be fun, until the sodomy begins
radar1979 05-12-2005, 01:42 PM Haunting...hands down.
U.M. Fanatic 05-14-2005, 11:15 PM Chalk me up for key witness to a crime.
Number 9 Dream 05-15-2005, 02:59 PM A haunting for sure :D
MariposaLKB 05-15-2005, 03:08 PM Religious miracle. Actually, I think I have already experienced one, cuz at the age of twelve I was "dead" as the result of a car accident and came back. When I came to I thought I saw and heard an angel! That part of the situation I could do again.
Mystery-Lover 05-21-2005, 11:27 PM I would want to have a haunting. :D Witnessing a murder might be too scary!
U.M. Fanatic 05-22-2005, 11:26 AM I would want to have a haunting. :D Witnessing a murder might be too scary!
And a haunting wouldnt? ;)
Believe me, I wouldn't have wanted to be in the Tallman's house when their haunting happened.
Mystery-Lover 05-22-2005, 02:01 PM Well a haunting would actually be pretty scary!!
I'm just saying that if I witnessed a murder, I think that the murderer would come after me next!
crest_curve 05-25-2005, 11:08 AM I'm a scaredy-cat. I'd have to say, "None of the above!"
PrettyinPink55 05-25-2005, 01:18 PM Hmmm...That's a toughie! Okay, I have my top three..I can't pick just one! I hope that's okay. I would probably want to witness a murder/crime because I've always wanted to be one of those people that "will be able to help solve a mystery". But then again, the haunting sounds interesting and kinda cool, but hella creepy...and, I would also like to witness a religious miracle as well. Gosh! It's so hard to decide!
One thing for sure: NO UFOs OR ALIEN ABDUCTIONS!!! I do believe in them, but I couldn't do either.
Awsi Dooger 05-30-2005, 09:47 PM I would like to haunt a UFO. Sounds like a splendid combo of longevity and extensive travel.
mphs95 07-01-2008, 08:54 PM As morbid as it sounds.....key witness to a crime
marlins3 08-25-2008, 06:34 PM Witness to a crime. And I would have my face blacked out and my voice changed. I would also assume a false name for the segment (I would ask UM if I could come up with my own and then use the strangest name I can think of. BTW, when they give witnesses assumed names, I sometimes wonder if they have ever actually use the person's real first name (as a way to throw off anyone who may be looking for them. For example, Tim Jones witnesses a crime. ON UM, Stack says, "The witness, who we will call Tim..."
Cori aka ChrisSCrush 08-25-2008, 06:40 PM They'd ALL be scary but I'd go for the UFO or religious miracle.
MegtheEgg86 08-25-2008, 06:53 PM I choose either a key witness or religious miracle. Certainly not a haunting or ANYTHING having to do with UFOs. :(

They have. "Sharon", who speaks at the beginning of the Kevin Hughes murder segment, is actually Sharon Pennington in real life. She later provided testimony during Richard d'Antonio's trial after he was arrested.
mphs95 08-25-2008, 07:18 PM Witness a crime and be the key witness to solving it. That way, I can be on UM. Unfortuately, I won't be interviewed by the master.
Big3sCompanyFan 08-26-2008, 11:23 AM I was thinking since we are all fans of UM what type of UM would you most like to be a part of? Choose one of the following or pick one of your one:

My apologies if this has been asked before. I'd pick all of them!
You forgot to include Bigfoot or some other cryptid. There have been ape-man sightings all over the world with names like Bigfoot,Sasquatch, Yoren, Yeti, Yowie, Chinese Wildman, Skunk Ape, etc. etc.
There did indeed exist a giant ape named Gigantopithecus that supposedly died out around around 300,000 years ago but it's possible a few could've survived longer in some remote areas.
But I was choose to witness a UFO then Bigfoot. I just don't believe UFOs have visited since the distances they would have to overcome to get here are mind boggling and near impossible.
brainteeez 09-08-2008, 05:42 AM All of them!!!
ksm1967 10-14-2008, 11:14 PM I would say haunting or religious miracle because I would never want to be the witness to a murder, I have seen enough dead people in my life and I have already seen a UFO and if I were to be abducted by aliens, they would kill me because I think I would freak out on them.
Cori aka ChrisSCrush 10-15-2008, 04:00 AM I would say haunting or religious miracle because I would never want to be the witness to a murder, I have seen enough dead people in my life and I have already seen a UFO and if I were to be abducted by aliens, they would kill me because I think I would freak out on them.
They have ways of keeping people under control, but have sometimes accidentally, or, it looks like, intentionally, killed some people.
Tap Dancer 10-15-2008, 04:15 PM I would want to have a haunting. :D Witnessing a murder might be too scary!
That's my pick too. I hope I never witness a murder or serious crime. And besides, some ghosts are friendly. :D
Dude111 04-05-2026, 05:19 AM I would say either A or B :)
Allierain 04-05-2026, 03:10 PM A haunting for sure. It surprises me how many of us here selected haunting, as those tend to be the cases that get dismissed. Spending time with a psychic or undergoing hypnosis would be fascinating.
Experiencing a religious miracle would also certainly be helpful.
tvscript124 04-07-2026, 02:19 AM Probably A or E. I'm very sensitive so witnessing a murder or being abducted would be hard. I've already had experiences with hauntings. I would be fine with seeing a UFO or experiencing a religious miracle.
Dude111 04-07-2026, 11:13 AM Thanx for your entry my friend :)
Dogface82 04-07-2026, 05:02 PM This would be a great topic for an evening gathering.
I had hoped at one time for a religious miracle. Not for myself for a friend who was terminally ill. A young girl in a coma was associated with miracle cures. She may have been featured on UM.
Finding lost treasure has always fascinated me.
A witness? Hopefully never again. Whether it is a crime, a haunting or a cryptid You get put through the wringer.
Having said that it is still fun to discuss over a few beers or a campfire or this forum.
