Hey guys, this is just a heads up. The Partridge Family: The Complete First Season is EDITED. In Episode #25: A Night in Shining Armor, the TAG where the family, and Reuben are saying goodbye to Bobby, and Lionel is GONE. We've waited all these years to finally have this DVD, and it's EDITED. So very LAME!

I didn't open mine yet, is this the only edit or are all episodes cut? I hope they didn't master these DVDs from the syndication versions! That would be a complete rip-off.

I've watched the whole set, and it looks like it's the only episode missing a scene.

I got to see many scenes that I never saw in syndication and the restoration of the original "When We're Singing" song is also nice. But I did notice that missing scene you mentioned and that's my only disappointment. Otherwise the DVD set is excellent. But that Partridge Family 2200 AD was a pretty lame cartoon judging by the episodes on the DVD.

Especially since that episode was already out on VHS that makes it even weirder that they edited it. I really like the DVD though, good quality and I like some of the extras on there.

Yeah, I noticed that too. And it's even acknowledged in the alterations section of the TVShowsOnDVD.com website. Well, Nobody's Perfect.

I've noticed the same thing and I've sent an e-mail to the Sony people to remind them of this fact and I should get a response soon. I'll be very interested to hear their side of the story---or if they even have one.
