I seem to remember an out take that was shown at the end of a show in the early 1960's. It took place in Rick's home and involved Wally. First, they showed the scene as it appeared on regular tv and then they showed the scene when it was fouled up. Does anyone remember this?

No, I don't know that one. The only one I can remember seeing was much earlier when Rick was about 13-14 and it was his birthday. Harriet was in the kitchen and Rick came in and went to look in the cookie jar (I heard he used to keep his lines in places like that so he could read them while the scene was going on and he would be sure to know them !). He never noticed David come in with a birthday cake surprise (and all the crew joined in for "Happy Birthday"). Finally, an embarrassed Rick realized what was going on.

I just recently saw one on a dvd or tape I watched recently. I think the name of the episode is "Desk Photo" or something like that. It's about Kris and Harriet getting portraits done of themselves to give to Rick and Ozzie. In one scene, Rick burns a photo in a wastebasket at the office. The out take is that they first put some lighter fluid in the bottom of the wastebasket to insure a fire. Rick lights a corner of the photo and drops it into the wastebasket. Whoosh! Quite alot of flame flared and scared Rick and Dave. They decided not to use the lighter fluid from that point on in future takes.

Yes I do remember that outake. Rick was pretty surprised. :lol:

Actually, there were a few...one with the picture as they try to "burn" it in a trashcan and it blows up, one where Wally splits his pants...and I am sure there is a third outtake that Ozzie showed. I think I have all three in my archives...

If you could post the episode that these outtakes are in, it would be much appreciated.

The only one I know of is from the episode, The Desk Photo, where David and Ricky are burning a photo it a metal waste paper basket and it really flares up.
