View Full Version : Which American Pie movie is the best?
TheHappyBurgerMeister 05-04-2005, 09:45 PM I have finally seen all 3 of them and I have to say I like the 2nd one the best. The plot is good and it still has the whole original cast, unlike American Wedding where half the cast is gone. I like American Wedding second and then the original last.
If you're a fan of these movies, which one is your favorite?
dandelion wine 05-04-2005, 09:50 PM The first American Pie.
Skywalker 05-04-2005, 10:05 PM American Pie
Belair 05-05-2005, 05:01 AM I've seen American Pie 2,and The Wedding, but haven't seen the original yet!
I loved American Pie 2 though,it was hilarious. The Wedding is not bad as well, but no where near as funny as American Pie 2.
*MIBabe03* 05-05-2005, 08:56 AM The original.
HuntingtonM15 05-05-2005, 12:06 PM I like the first and second equally. I still like Wedding, but it wasn't as good as those two.
Nighthawk76 05-07-2005, 08:19 PM I thought the first one was pretty good. I've only seen it once though. I did not like the second one and I never saw the third one.
Dean Winchester 05-08-2005, 02:21 PM first was best, American Pie 2 was decent though. However, I just didn't really get into American Wedding. I dunno, I guess Stifler eating dog poo is just gross at 24 while it would've been hilarious at 19.
The best part of these movies has been seeing Alyson Hannigan playing a character far different than Willow Rosenberg (her Buffy character).
Rhiannon 05-08-2005, 06:22 PM the first
Courtnee 05-08-2005, 06:47 PM they all suck ass
Brian Damage 05-09-2005, 11:03 AM The first one was the best. American Wedding was lousy in my opinion.
Dean Winchester 05-09-2005, 01:52 PM they all suck ass
lol... hard to believe we're already at the phase were todays teens think it's cool to bash the teen flicks of yesteryear ("yesteryear" being anything pre 9-11). Kinda like I knew people when I was a teen in the mid-90's who thought it was cool to call The Breakfast Club and Fast Times "crap" simply because they were "old".
Cactus Jack 06-20-2005, 06:34 PM American Pie 2
barwars 06-20-2005, 09:12 PM American Pie 2 made me laugh more.... but the 1st was a better film.
I voted for American Pie 2 though.
American Wedding was good, but not as good as the first two.
SBTB Geek 06-22-2005, 02:14 PM "American Pie" is the best, I haven't seen "American Wedding" though.
Chain Gang Member 11-22-2005, 03:40 PM I have both of the first two on DVD.I like both, but I like American Pie 2 better. That movie with the Kevin&VIcky scenes saves guy-girl friendships.Trust me,I know
Karen* 11-22-2005, 08:41 PM I can't believe there's going to be an American Pie Band Camp spin-off of a movie.
Chain Gang Member 11-23-2005, 01:51 PM There is?

I saw a preview of it on one of the DVDs I rented. I don't know if it's going to be released in theaters or if it's going to be released straight-to-video, all I know is that it looks really lame (The only actor from the original movies that stays is Eugene Levy).
Mister Ed 11-27-2005, 01:42 AM American Pie
bad_boy 11-27-2005, 01:45 AM American Pie 1
80sTrivia 12-05-2005, 06:59 PM I'll have to go with the original version! :)
istcola 12-29-2005, 11:46 AM I love all three pie movies, I have not seen band camp now, but I hope is can live up to the name, I was really hoping for one more movie, like american pie family, where jim founds out he is going to be a dad and the crazy things he does planing that... they could end the movie with her still knock up, being a dad of four kids, yes four kids I think it would be funny to see. crazy stuff happens after you find out you going to be a dad, I know found out four times, you can make her call him on the phone and tell him and he freaking out at a store or a club or something, I think it would sell........I hoping the pie movies will outlived me and my kids can enjoy them when they get old enough to watch them.
Lorelai Gilmore 01-04-2006, 05:35 PM American Pie
Dean Winchester 01-04-2006, 05:47 PM I totally agree.
Why did Chris Klein not appear in American Wedding? The girls I could understand, but you would've thought he would come back to see Jim's wedding
