This case has always been one that has stayed with me since the first time I saw it. For those that never heard of it, it was the one where the a 14 year old boy disappeared during the weekend where the carnival came to his hometown. There were different theories that were thrown around about his fate, which range from him being murdered by bullies, to him ODing when someone slipped something in his beer. I wonder if anyone ever found out what really happened to him. I felt bad for his mother.

has never been located (alive or dead) - Although it is almost a certainty that Jeremy is no longer with us. Again a very bizarre case where a town just "clams up" after a murder/disappearance when several people obviously know what happened to Jeremy Bright but nobody is willing to say. You can google a search on Jeremy on the web and pull up several things including his "missing file" etc.
I believe though that Jeremy's mother stated in the segment that she was pretty positive about who or whom was involved in her son's disappearance/murder but she didn't have enough evidence to take the next step.
Later.

It is baffling that this case hasn't been solved. I can't fathom the fact that the people in that small town have remained silent for 19 years. It's one thing for them to be intimidated by the local toughs as kids. It's another thing for them to turn their backs on a family's need for closure years later. Shame on the people in Myrtle Point who know what happened and won't even make an anonymous phone call to police.

I agree, if in fact they know. Maybe he was killed by a select few people who then skipped town.
But I agree that if people do know and don't say, there is a special place in hell for them.

If either of the main two theories is correct (the swimming hole shooting or the laced drink at the party), multiple people know what happened to Jeremy Bright.

I really believe that several people know what happened to Jeremy.
The only question I have is how can you get that many people to keep their mouths shut?
Whoever did this must be pretty powerful/dangerous/scarey or all of the above.
I feel so sorry for his mother. I hope someday this case is solved.
