Gunsmoke has been on TV Land for a long time. It used to be on twice a day and now its just on at 6:00 AM. The Sunday Marathon is great to. Does any one know how long TV Land has Gunsmoke for. Hopefuly they will get the black and white episodes some day

I hope not. I used to not watch Gunsmoke but I started watching them on weekends and on my day off and I love it now! Great writing and acting!

don't worry about them dropping it. I read on another site that TV LAND plans on keeping it on for a LONG time.

I also hope they'll start showing the black-and-white ones someday. Also, the half-hour ones.

I enjoy Westerns - and there wasn't anyone else I could see playing Matt Dillon besides James Arness. :cool:

...TV Land has the rights to the 1966-'75 color episodes, and Encore Western just started showing the 1961-'66 black and white episodes. Both will be on for a while, I assure you!
