I like the one that was just on where Newkirk and Carter are trying to get into some Nazi office dressed as an old lady and her son respectively. Then they went back to camp and Schultz found them in their costumes. Hogan told him they were rehearsing a play. Newkirk says to Carter "Give me the letter Phillip" and on and on, then Carter looks at him and says "What letter?" He could be so dumb sometimes! Pam3 08-31-2001, 06:46 PM Klink and Hogan are flying a plane that they stole from a London airfield and are flying the plane back to Germany. It lasted about a minute or two and ended when the plane ran out of gas. Hogan: "Oh well, like I always say, easy come, easy go. Klink: "Try to land the plane." Hogan: "With a dead engine? Forget it." Bill S. 09-24-2001, 05:13 PM Corporal Hans Wagner(Carter) addressing Colonel Hogan: "How dare you say a thing like that about our fuhrer. I don't care if you are an officer, you are still a visitor in Deutschland. If I ever hear you say a thing like that again, I will shoot you, in person. And remember I have warned you." ClassicComedyFan2 09-28-2001, 10:01 PM Just starting watching this show a few months ago! It's great http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Anyway, one of my favorite scenes is from the first episode where the spy tries to prove Hogan runs an underground operation, and gets the General wet, and screams and lets the dogs loose. Hilarious! Pam3 11-16-2001, 08:57 PM About that spy. It seems to me that the actor who played that spy had the most guest appearances of any non-regular cast member. Each time he appeared he played a different character. He was the one who was the Commander of Stalag 5 who because of all the escapes was ordered to Stalag 13 to study Klink's methods. Drab Afterward 12-29-2004, 03:49 PM In no particular order.... There is an episode where Hogan gets Klink to call Gen. Burkhalter on the radio even though radio silence was ordered. Hogan wanted to pinpoint the location of some installation Burkhalter was at so Allied bombers could nail it. Hogan convinced Klink to call Burkhalter because they were having a mock anniversary party for Klink. Hogan suggested Klink call and thank Burkhalter for the flowers he sent, which he didn't. You hear the bombs rumbling in the distance as the bombers pepper Burkhalter's base while Klink and crew sing dreamily some sentimental song, Klink looking up with a serene expression. Classic. Another great Klink moment comes as the Normandy Invasion is gearing up. Hogan convinces Klink and visiting General staffers that Hitler is replacing Von Runstedt as his top in charge. Klink gets to make the famous phone call that was made by Von Runstedt to der Furher asking for tank support, as the Allies storm the beach. When Klink finds out Hitler is sleeping and can't be disturbed, he is hung up on. When Shultz asks, "Do you want me to call him back?", Klink replies, "NO" as only Klink could. Lastly, my favorite Shultz moment comes when he is in love and wanders into the Hogan's barracks and sees the bunkbed tunnel entrance wide open only to reply, "You boys ought to cover up the hole in the floor or somebody may fall in." He was in too good a mood to care. Right on Shultzie! The Keeper 02-10-2005, 02:23 AM I just loved any absurd irony that Schultz said. Like in the episode where he mutters: "things were so much better when we had an Emperor". Lolac 02-24-2005, 08:41 PM About that spy. It seems to me that the actor who played that spy had the most guest appearances of any non-regular cast member. Each time he appeared he played a different character. He was the one who was the Commander of Stalag 5 who because of all the escapes was ordered to Stalag 13 to study Klink's methods. The actor's name is Noam Pitlik. He went on to be a director and directed much of the "Barney Miller" series. Lolac  Lolac 02-24-2005, 08:42 PM My favorite episode is when Carter impersonates Hitler. He comes to visit Stalag 13 and Klink and Schultz are falling all over themselves. Lolac sarastiles 12-02-2005, 12:17 AM My favorite eppy is Hogan, Go Home.
