I can see why people would be interested in American Idol, but not with the religious obsession the show gets. Kelly Clarkson is the only one associated with the show whose really made any real impression IMO anyways.

In ten years, people will look back on AI and wonder why they were so obsessed with it, just my opinion.

Most of the people who bought Clay's albums were his fans from American Idol, while Kelly has actually built on her AI fanbase, most of the people I know who like her now never watched her on Idol.

I watched FG when it was on in 1999, and I LOVED their Y2K episode. That was the funniest episode ever. Oh man...E.T. ran by at one point and Chris said, "Run, E.T.! Run!" :rofl:

My husband and I were talking about it last night. He's keen on buying the DVD's now - and that's just on me telling him some of the jokes from Sunday's airing! He doesn't normally do that. Can't wait to watch them!
