I'm sure that most of you have seen "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" right? Well, I just recently saw it for the first time and loved it- all except one thing! I thought that DVD's hair was too thick. Am I the only one who likes it really short like it was on the DVD show? (The JFK haircut that is.)I don't know why, but when I see him with a little bit longer hair I always think "Trim it!". Does anyone else share my opinion?

KD, long time no see! I know what you are talking about. His hair is actually a bit longer in Season 5 of TDVDS and I have thought the same thing! I was watching "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" the other day and thought he needed a haircut. I definitely like it better cut closer.

I always liked it during the 60s, but when he did that show with Hope Lange, it was quite long and also in Diagnosis Murder - especially once it went white - makes him look more like a mad scientist than DVD!

I also noticed that his hair was a bit longer in a few episodes of Season 5!! I thought the exact same thing -CUT IT! I'm happy to see that there are others who agree with me.
(I haven't posted in awhile, but I check the boards everyday. Don't worry! I'm not straying!)

That's great, KennedyDean! Glad to see you post again.
Yes, I like to see Dicks hair cut close too. I remember "The New Dick Van Dyke Show," and I didn't think he looked as good with the longer hair and 70's style sideburns.
I should be one to talk, though. I'm still sportin' shoulder-length locks!

I agree with you. I prefer Dick's hair shorter than longer. I didn't exactly care for the long, wavy hair he later on had. You're not alone! LOL.

I agree! I loved DVD's hair when it was shorter. :)

And isnt everyone glad that he let it go gray naturally instead of dying it jet black :)
