hey all! :wave: Here is a pic of me in Jamestown a few years back stomping grapes at the lucyfest. Have any of you done this? I'ts not too comfortable but fun! :D

I've never done it - I'll bet it feels really cold and gross!! And I sure wouldn't want to drink the wine from it afterwards!!! I'll take the modern presses anytime! ;)

Actually most of the grapes were green and light purple and I didn't even have stains on my feet. There were stems on them though and that didn't feel real pleasant! The best part was they did the actual scene with actors before we got to stomp! It was great! :)

Yeah, I've always wondered about the stems - they would definitely hurt between the toes!!! :lol:

I've seen clips of the festival on the news when they hold it - as you know, Jamestown's not far from Buffalo, and that's just across the border from us so we get a lot of their local news too. Looks like a lot of fun.

We hold an Elvis festival every June in "cottage country" here in Ontario - its always a big laugh too!
