Jr. Prom for us is May 20th, I really excited... it's 6:00-Midnight, plus afterparties, but I don't think I want to go to those. Number one, my bedtime is 8:30, so I'll just want to come home and crash... and number two, people throw crazy parties at my school. I don't want to be a part of them.

i had a date up until last sunday (when my boyfriend broke up with me) so now i'm iffy. i might just end up having a girls night with one of my friends who's also not going... unless i get a date in the next couple of weeks.

I only went to my senior prom when I was in high school, I don't regret it
one bit that I missed my junior prom. I was sick that night,and besides
I remember my classmates saying the senior class had the police chaffeur it
that year so meant no one could go partying afterwards.Our senior year
was different.No police whatsoever and everyone partied afterwards.
I had like the worst hangover the next but I didn't care.

That's when our senior prom is! In Universal Studios, Hollywood (actual themepark). I don't have a date (or a dress, or shoes, or anything), but I'm going with friends.

I didn't go to mine. I didn't want to. I didn't have a boyfriend or a date, but it didn't matter because I didn't want to go. Instead I spent the day with a friend of my who also didn't go because she didn't want to. Of course I don't like partying so I don't see the big fasination with the prom or school dances, unless you like to party,.

mmm. i know i'd have fun but it would still not be as great as it would be if i had a date. who knows, my cousin and i were talking and i might go to hers and shed hook me up with a guy.

ours is the 24th. we go to the hamptons that night, come back the morning of the 26th and graduate. i hope my school realizes how trashed we're all going to be.

we went to the Old Spaghetti Warehouse last night and there MUST have been some proms going on, because there was TAFFETA and GLITTER EVERYWHERE!

I barely escaped with my life - so I had my own prom in the car on the way home afterwards.

Proms are awesome. I wish I could go to more of them. Ours was on April 16th and Senior Ball at our school is on May 13th.

There was a Gay couple at my niece's prom last Saturday Night. Everyone made fun of them behind there back but tried to be polite if they saw them.

I went to the prom with my best guy friend. Ugh, I don't know why the hell I did that, knowing how he was. I don't even want to talk about it. I love him and all, but I never want to go with him again! :snob:

I didn't go to my junior or senior prom. I'm glad too...My HS can go burn in hell.

I totally hated senior prom night. Man! I was just a total dweeb back then. Everyone hated me. Not to mention that between my junior year and my senior year in high school, My family moved from Oklahoma to Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas. 98% of the total student body was just bunch of rich snobs. Me, I was just the total outsider from po' Oklahoma. Not to mention that people in the Dallas metro area treats all okies like trashy outsiders. I was basically hated during my senior year just because I was an Okie.

To hell with Richardson, TX ISD. May those principals and preppy rich snobs burn in Dante's great inferno.

I'm so excited for prom (aside from the fact one of my friends is taking my ex...awk.), I am obsessed with my dress, and after prom is going to be so fun, its at my friends house and his parents will be home, but they dont care that we will be partyin it up downstairs. And since we have this senior game called assassins, we all squirt guns, we are goin get into a huge water gun fight (as we did tonight...in my house) and the weekend my friends parents are going away so we are goin to have a beer-baque

Jr. prom for us was held in the school cafe and its in November. I didnt waste my time and money on that though to dress up formally to go where I did everyday for lunch.

i only went my senior year, and I had a blast. I however, didn't spend a whole lot of money. my dress was 130 (trust me, cheap comapred to some girls who spent well over 500) and my shoes were off the rack from JC penny and just happen to actually match my dress. Got my makeup done for free, hair done for about 25 bucks, and I just bought a necklace and earrings at Claires. We didn't rent a limo (It was just me and Jonathan) and we went to eat at a nice restaurant, but it really wasn't THAT expensive. I had a blast.. I loved it! Wish I could do it again.

I didn't make it to my Junior, OR Senior year prom. Family things popped up. I did however go my Sophmore year. I hung out with upper classmen (whom I'm still friends with today) and they all decided to go as a group, not with dates. They each got 2 tickets so one of them asked if I wated to go as well. I said sure and we had a BLAST! I think I had more fun then then if I would have gone to my own prom. Most of my friends had been upper classmen and had all graduated by my senior year.
