I have always wondered who they used for the picture of Max Shotz (GET BACK TO WORK!) in the breakroom at the Shotz Brewery - does anyone have ANY idea ?

also, am I wrong in thinking that they used SEVERAL different actors for the voice of Max Shotz over the years?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a picture of Garry Marshall, or some other Marshall family member. He had a lot of them on the show!! ;)

Actually, the picture used was Tony Marshall's, Penny and Garry's father.

Also, in "THe Second Annual Shotz Talent Show" show, two of the performers were Penny and Cindy's moms. The woman who tap danced her audtion in the girl's apartment was Marjorie Ward Marshall, Penny's mother. The woman who did "Pennies from Heaven" i(singing and throwing pennies in the air) was Cindy's mother, Francine Williams.
