I thought it would be a good time evaluate, discuss, (the first 5 episodes) how the show is doing so far... what kind of changes that would make the show better, if you watch the show, and do you give the show thumbs up, or thumbs down...

(my take) Wednesdays have turn into must see T.V for me. I believe eyes is one of the top 5 shows currently on T.V. (Sure its not a ratings grabber like American Idol, CSI, Desperate Housewive, etc... but the show keeps me turning in to see what happens next. Like what kind of new cases that are going to happen, how Tim Daly character is going to confront the mole in his company(I aplogize to those who havent seen the episodes), the relationship between Meg and Smiths, if its going to effect there work etc. Tim Daly doesnt get enough credit on what kind of actor he is, he's playing his role of a smart alleck, leader of private investigators firm, type of person great. The only changes I would make is hoping the writers/the creater keeps up the good stories/cases for the show. So far, I give Eyes a thumbs up

"EYES" has turned out to be the "must see" highlight of my TV viewing week...and frankly, I haven't encountered a "must see" NEW series in a long time! I like that the show touches on the personal relationships of the various staff members, but not so much that the show becomes soap-opera-ish.....The cases themselves are still the main focus of the episodes.

Tim Daly is OUTSTANDING in his role of Harlan Judd....the best work that I've seen him do since "Wings". I see some of Joe Hackett in Harlan (especially in recent episodes with his give-and-take dialogue with his ex-wife, whom he still obviously loves), and as I've mentioned before, I also see some of Steven Weber's Brian Hackett in Harlan....but Tim doesn't copy either character. Harlan is a unique, fresh character all his own.

After a hard day's work, it's usually very difficult for me to stay awake during 10-11 PM dramas...no matter WHAT they are. However, "Eyes" never lulls me to sleep....it holds my interest for the entire hour.

It's so nice to find a TV drama where they're doing more than pulling bullets out of dead bodies with tweezers!

I can't stay up until 11 on weeknights either, so I record Eyes every week. DVR has gotten me to the point where I have no patience for commercials, so another good thing about recording it is that I can fast-forward through all the commercials.

But I LOVE this show. It's the first network TV program I've watched in ages. My normal viewing consists of baseball, hockey (when it's on), Discovery Channel, History Channel, Science Channel, HGTV and (on weekends) Book TV on CSPAN2.

I DVR a lot of stuff from all the movie channels I get. I honestly cannot tell you when I last made an effort to watch something on a broadcast channel.
