Which one treated Colonel Klink better at Stalag 13? They both got on Klinks case mostly all of the time. Schultz funny line-I Know nothing!

General Burkhalter overall treated Klink with more respect. Both consistently threatened Klink with transfers to the Eastern Front and/or being court-martialed and then shot.

Oh yeah, Burkhalter treated Klink a lot better. I can only remember one episode where Hochstetter even acted friendly, and that's because a girl was involved. Most of the time he was yelling at anyone he could.

Burkhalter was also trying to get Klink and his sister
Gertrude together.LOL!!!!!:)
Burkhalter was so henpecked that it was no wonder he was
nice to Klink. That and they both were Luftwaffe.
btw:Anyone see the Three's Company eppie where Chrissy
eats Jack's pie that he's supposed to put in a baking contest
and she and Janet go out and get a substitute pie at a bakery?
The reason being the baker and judge of the contest was
General Burkhalter!!!!!!:)
(That was the one with all the pie throwing at the end, can't
imagine Hochstetter getting a pie in the face!!!!!:))

Actually, no... General Burkhalter (Leon Askin) wore a German Army general's uniform; generally Luftwaffe POW camp administration remained with the Luftwaffe.

Major Hofstetter wore the black SS uniform, which was rarely worn during the war (they changed over to a field gray uniform).
