May 3 TV-DVDs

Or, how broke will I be after I get everything I want? Here's the list:

Carol Burnett Show (Let's Bump Up The Lights!) (Paramount)
Dawson's Creek (The Complete Fifth Season) (Sony)
Dora the Explorer: It's a Party (Paramount)
Everybody Loves Raymond - The Complete 3rd Season (Warner Bros.)
Gilmore Girls - The Complete 3rd Season (Warner Bros.)
I Love Lucy (The Complete Fourth Season) (Paramount)
King of the Hill (The Complete Fourth Season) (Fox)
Man Show, The (Season Three) (Eagle Rock)
Naked City (1958) (Box Set #1) (Image)
Partridge Family, The (Season One) (Sony)
Radio Free Roscoe (Season 1: Greatest Hits) (Video Services Corp.)
Star Trek: Enterprise (The Complete First Season) (Paramount)
Three's Company (Season Four) (Anchor Bay)
Touched by an Angel (The Complete Second Season) (Paramount)

A note on a couple of the releases. Carol Burnett's Let's Bump Up The Lights! is also available in a two pack set with Carol Burnett Show: Showstoppers.

Radio Free Roscoe is a Canadian only release that you can order through amazon.ca (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007YXRHW). I thought I'd include Radio Free Roscoe on the list even though the Radio Free Roscoe set is just being sold in Canada because Radio Free Roscoe has its share of American fans who may not know that this Radio Free Roscoe set is coming out. This Radio Free Roscoe set by the way contains around 8 or so episodes from the first season of Radio Free Roscoe. So if Radio Free Roscoe fans are interested in at least a few Radio Free Roscoe episodes on dvd, they should order this Radio Free Roscoe set and hopefully there'll eventually be a Radio Free Roscoe season set released.

P.S. Radio Free Roscoe

season 4 is when I think TC went from a good show to a great show. I thought Furley was so much funnier than the Ropers, seasons 4-8 are can't miss IMO.

I should be getting, for free....
The Carol Burnett Show (Let's Bump Up The Lights!) (Paramount)
Everybody Loves Raymond - The Complete 3rd Season (Warner Bros.)

And I'll be buying....
I Love Lucy (The Complete Fourth Season) (Paramount)
Three's Company (Season Four) (Anchor Bay)

Although I love both of those, I can't afford to get them immediately. I need to save my money for prom.

The beginning of an excellent month! First up, I'll be getting:

Everybody Loves Raymond (Season 3)
I Love Lucy (Season 4)
King of the Hill (Season 4)
The Partridge Family (Season 1)
Three's Company (Season 4)

I've been saving up, so hopefully I'll get all those on the first day. The most important are "Lucy" and "Three's Company".

Hmm...I may have to look into the Naked City set and see what eps are on it.

it's funny, I hate the show, but you'd figure a show as popular as Raymond would be getting more than 3 votes, behind even The Partridge Family.

And one of those it getting it for free.... and another is somebody who gets basically every sitcom.

By the way, I used to despise the series, but I've grown to like it. I'm still not a fan of Ray Romano, but his supporting cast is great. I figure, it's for free, why not?

cant stand that show, never understood how its stayed on this long - although I agree that the supporting cast is not the problem.

lol. Imagine if the rest of the cast had decided "go to hell Ray" for deciding to end the show, and they decided to have Ray die off and carry on another season dealing with the aftermath of his death (since he knew he wasn't doing another year).... it probably would be a funnier program.

Definitely getting:

Both fourth seasons of "King Of The Hill," and "Three's Company."

Until I saw this thread, I thought that KOH came out on May 10, and I totally forgot about TC.

Hilarious. They could rename the series "Everybody Mourns Raymond". I think I'd watch that show...

As for the May 3 DVDs, I'm getting Gilmore Girls: Season 3

Looks like May 10th is the release date

Looks like the poll has been unfairly manipulated. As I post this, 18 names are listed for Three's Company but somehow it's gotten 23 votes from 25 voters. Similar thing happened the last time there was a John Ritter dvd.

... some people vote and dont post their messages.

are you counting the messages or not?

Messages don't count as far as the poll is concerned. The poll itself only registers who makes a vote. This is a public vote, so by clicking on the numbers you can see who voted for what. As of this writing 18 people voted for Three's Company, not 23.

I know exactly what happened, but I don't think it's right and it was totally unnecessary for someone to change the number, Three's Company had far many votes than anything else anyway.

Maybe I should purposely give Radio Free Roscoe 10 extra votes.

... but you mean by "as of this writing", the poll vote casters, right?

Or how about "Everybody Loved Raymond"? ;)

I watched the first season within a week. But when i bought the second season, I never got past the first episode. I still like the show, sort of.
