Does anyone know how to contact David? I don't think he get's the credit he deserves! I'd love to tell him how important he was to me growing up!

I'm not sure how to contact him, but if you are ever able to get in touch with him, you might ask him why he's taking so long making the COMPLETE Ozzie and Harriet series available SEASON BY SEASON on video or dvd !! :confused:

Why is is that he does not guest star on anything anymore. I think he could have been on a few TV Land specials like the awards or the convention. He could also be on top 10 when Ozzie was named number 10 TV Dad.

David is "very comfortable" financially...and he has never really enjoyed the front side of the camera as much as directing, etc. Also, I have heard rumors the reason David is not releasing the series is because of disputes within the family from greedy members.

In the 1980s my sister worked for a limo company, and they sometimes drove Harriet. Harriet told the drivers that David had gotten all the publicity he wanted, and was content to be out of the limelight. He has that right. But we can hope that he or his family reads these and passes on to him our appreciation for a long-running television show done well. I wish TVLand would pick it up.

He was (of all places) in Cry Baby a 1989 movie by John Waters.

A John Waters movie is the last place I'd thought I'd find DN but there he was. It was so cool.
