what is the EXACT error message you are getting?
have you run your antivirus software, and Spybot and AdAware to see if you have any malicious programs in there? you may want to post a HijackThis! log
first clean out your temp files:
boot into safe mode (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406) (http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml)
Go to: My Computer > Tools menu > Folder Options > View tab, Checkmark "show hidden files" (or show all files), Uncheck "hide extensions for known file types", OK everything and close Folder Options.
Go to: C:\Windows\Temp, Delete all files, do the same for "C:\Temp"
Go to: Control Panel > Internet Options on the General tab under Temporary Internet Files > Delete Files, Checkmark "Delete all offline content"
Click OK
if you are using Internet Explorer and ALL cookies are being rejected (which seems to be the case going by what you have described earlier), you should try resetting your security settings:
Choose Tools, then
Internet Options.
Click the Privacy tab,
Default setting is medium. Move the slider to determine which setting you prefer - reset to Default will allow the most common cookies. (do NOT set it too LOW - you may even want to reset to default, then move it up to Medium-High, then manually add the sites that you want to allow in the next step)
You can also click on Advanced for specialized cookie treatment for specific sites (block or allow by domain).

and keep in mind that when you run your Spybot and AdAware, you have the option of saving whichever cookies you want or wiping them all out when you do a scan - if you delete ALL of the negligible entries - you are deleting those cookies that Sitcoms Online and Yahoo! need to remember you.
vashti1999 04-28-2005, 12:13 PM Robroy, you're a computer genius.
I noticed yesterday, that one of my Yahoo email accounts increased to the full gig storage size they promised, while others remained at 250 mbs.
