MAHA -- Paul McCartney fans have set a record for ticket sales at Omaha's Qwest Center, KETV-TV reported Monday.
Tickets for the ex-Beatle's Oct. 30 show sold out in 14 minutes, beating Kenny Chesney's 16 minute record.
McCartney announced Monday he will play an 11-week concert tour starting Sept.16 in Miami.
"We are looking forward again to playing America," McCartney said in a statement on his official Web site."They know how to have a good time and we're there to give it to them.It'll be fun to visit some new places, to see some old faces and to do things a bit differently this time.We are ready to rock."
