I was one of their biggest fans back in the 80's when they had two of my favorite players Isiah Thomas & Joe Dumars. I also liked Rick Mahorn, John Salley, Adrian Dantley, Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, Vinnie Johnson, James Edwards. I was mad when Adrian was traded to Dallas for Mark Aguirre in 1989. Mark is one of Isiah's best friends & Isiah had Adrian traded for him. Adrian was pissed off at Isiah for having him traded. I remember Adrian was unstoppable during the championship series in 1988 when they played the Lakers. He was very unstoppable in game one. Remember Isiah & Magic Johnson would kiss each other on the cheek before each game? LOL. Pistons used to fight everybody back in the day hahahahahahahahahahaha. I remember when they played the Cavs one game. Brad Daugherty of the Cavs got into a fight with Bill Laimbeer. Bill slammed him to the floor LOL. Larry Nance got into it with Rick Mahorn that same game. That game was played at Detroit's arena Pontiac Silverdome. That arena used to always be sold out during the playoffs back then. Those were the days. At least Dennis Rodman was normal back then hahahahahahahahahahaha. Pistons & Bulls used to have some heated playoff series. I remember one playoff game when Michael Jordan got clotheslined by Bill Laimbeer when Michael was trying to dunk on Bill. The Pistons went out like some punks when the Bulls finally beat them in 1991 in the playoffs. Isiah & the rest of his teammates walked right past the Bulls bench after the game & didn't shake their hands. Joe Dumars & John Salley were the only ones to shake the Bulls players hands. Joe Dumars is a class act. He's always been a good guy.
