Hetre's one simple question I wanna know: who rocks more: Ashlee Simpson or Avril Lavigne?

I voted for Ashlee Simpson because I like her music better than Avril's. I like Avril's music, too and I think she's cool by being herself.

I prefer Avril,but I dont mind Ashlee.I've grown to like her,after watching her show.She seems like a cool girl.Avril is awesome though.I admire how she doesn't give a **** what people have to say about her,and thats cool.

what kind of comparison is that. avril worked for and earned her career. ashlee rode her sister's coattails into the media. avril's voice on her studio recorded songs matches the way she sounds live. ashlee sounds entirely different (and horrendous) live. avril hasn't ****ed herself over in the media so much she feels the need to come up with a load of un-combinable excuses to justify it. ashlee has accomplished both.

precisely. i just can't even emphasize it enough that there are many talented artists who work hard for a record contract but don't get one while worthless ****s like ashlee simpson do. if they were the sibling of another popular artist they'd get signed automatically. i don't hate ashlee personally, she just needs to get the hell out of the media. and stay out.

it also frustrates me how Ashlee has all the fame that Jessica has and they are both on the same level in the media (though not in talent). Jessica worked her ass off to get where she is now and she made it there on talent, and her own too. Ashlee just got it free because Jessica got there before her. it's unfair and disgraceful for all artists who work for their careers.

I was never a fan of her reality show, but I must say, embarassingly enough, that I actually like Kelly Osbourne's new sound and would take it over anything Ashlee or Avril have ever recorded. Gone are the annoying poseur punk yells of "Shut Up" and now she's more a harder edge version of Gwen, someone who I think actually has talent and has stood the test of time.

i used to hate her over "she says she's when punk when she's not" too, but she said all that stuff years ago when was 17. she was still a kid. you can't rag on her forever about it.
