Nope, not highlighted :D My hair's a natural reddish brown(not auburn but more like a strawberry blondish brown...if you could call it that :lol:) but I always dye it auburn. This particular picture is pre-auburn :D

It does like hell! Its the CAMERA that adds 10 lbs if anything!! ;) There's no way you're over about 115 (and I'm a lousy judge at weights anyhow).

And yeah - I had just got off the dancefloor and was sweating like crazy actually so my face came out shiny with the flash - it always does. I use spackle, and Poly-Filla, loose powder - but I could slap on a pail of flour on my face and I would still look shiny most of the time. Crazy, because my face isn't oily or anything - I don't know what does it!! Guess its just that "natural" dewy look like JLo has!! :p :crazy:

Good for you!! Yeah, that's what I did - just jump into the threads - now I feel I have quite a few good buddies here (not to mention the odd person who I'm sure doesn't like me, but I don't care - the friendly ones out weigh them anyways)!! :lol:

im a studio musician in LA, and we a have a few musicians from sweden in our circles. we give em hard time about ace of base. im gonna turn em on to the fan group for sure.

i remember a night in cabo san lucas, dancing till the sun came up to ace of base...

actually, our band was playin a gig in this little bar/restaurant on the beach and the local radio station was having a bikini contest. i was the MC. fun stuff!

I remember the first time my brother had a "groupie" when he was in his band. We laughed our a$$es off at him because she was soooo obvious, following him around the entire night between sets, buying him beers, etc.. Its just funny to see when it's your brother (and they try to get friendly with you to get to him). I even got some attention on occasion working the sound board - did matter whether you were an actual band member or not - just anything to get an "in" with the band!

sounds like you know the animal. i have a lot of fun with it, but i dont take it seriously. im totally over it.....never was really into it. but, i understand how sometimes people want to hang with the band. its cool. were polite. no problems...

the band, "led zeppagain" performed.

You know Triumph? We're dating ourselves here!! :lol: Yeah, I worked for them, Saga and a couple of smaller bands like my brother's and two others. It was a blast - the stories I could tell! I did more for the smaller bands - basically just artwork for Triumph and Saga. Also partied with Rush and Max Webster/Kim Mitchell & Downchild Blues Band a few times, but didn't work for them.

My all time fav is Zeppelin and thankfully there are some good cover bands for them. We have a pretty good one here in Toronto that plays for the local classic rock station at events all the time.

Yup - you know your Triumph alright! That was one of my favorites - also their cover of Joe Walsh's Rocky Mountain Way! They officially broke up years ago and Rik has done some solo stuff, but not much other than that. Wouldn't be surprised if I heard of a reunion with them in the future. I haven't been in contact with them for years though.
It's funny, I've got the medley of Saga songs in my head, but can't remember the titles!! :lol: Now you talk about aging!!!

Yeah, poor Neil has had it really rough since he lost his wife. She was his whole life and a lovely lady. He took some time off for a couple of years, hopped on his bike and just toured North America. He's back now and they recently released a new CD. He didn't attend most of the promotional gigs though since he still has a tough time facing people. Alex has had some run-ins with the law too. You probably heard about an incident in Florida last fall I think it was.

I was good friends with Neil's cousin and we'd go up to the family's cottage in central Ontario a few times during the summer. I always found it funny seeing him waterski - not cool seeing a rock drummer in his swim trunks wipe out!!

Don't worry - 38 ain't over the hill yet!! I thought that too, but I'm still chugging along at 44!
