I've never been on TV, but my voice has and I've been on the radio. the first time I was six or seven and I wanted request a song and I guess the station used an automated service for request. so I said the song I wanted to hear and later on the DJs played my voice on the air and it was muffled and inaudible and one of the DJs said what the heck was that? LOL. the other time I called into a tv call in show and talked to the mayor of santa barbara and said we needed a walmart.

I've never been on the radio, but I listen to a radio show in the afternoon. Local guy, Howie Carr...sort of a Rush Limbaugh type. He's very popular and has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Larry King Live during last year's campaign, since he knows so much about Boston politics, and Kerry was a candidate.

I'm too chicken to call, but I e:mail him my comments. He reads my e:mails a lot....one day, he read three. I'm sort of a regular, along with others who e:mail him.

The first time he read my e:mail, I was so excited that I made a thread about it here, lol. Now it's old hat.

No but I've been in the local new paper in South Boston (when I lived there) but my mother was on the Special Edition episode of Inside Edition on the forced busing in the 70s in South Boston. Heh they bleeped her out. She said "it was about f***ing time"

 We have it on tape too. Probably the only tape of it that exists anymore! It aired in 96.

Anybody else see it?

I've been in numerous local commercials over the years...Last time was in September and October of 2003. My stepmom operates a huge, popular party supply store in this area and they do commercials...they prefer to do them in the second half of the year...For Halloween, they go all-out with costumed people...They also make a Thanksgiving/Christmas commercial too and a New Year's one too. I took part in their Halloween 2003 commercial. I also took part in their New Year's 2000 commercial. Very fun. :D

ETA: I just remembered. Way back in the day, I used to be on the news a lot, due to being hearing impaired. I was on the news a few times in the late 80's and early 90's. Unfortunately, the only news clip that I have is from October 1991.

A few times, all on TV....

in 1st grade the local NBC News station came to our school and in our art class we drew 3s because NBC is Channel 3 in my area.

in 4th grade a guy came when we were on a fieldtrip to the middle school, where they made an indoor rainforest.

in 8th grade, demonstrators came to the outside of our school and handed out flyers and showed videos of the treatment cows and tried to get us to stop drinking milk. Me and a few friends just started shouting "Eat Beef! Eat Beef!" over and over again in the background, and the news people that came and taped it got a clip of us, stating we weren't pleased with the demonstrators invading our school. They got fined for it, because they had to close school early so they wouldn't start any trouble.... I guess they didn't close early enough.

In 5th grade I was the queen of the pet parade from my grade school. It aired on a local station here in Chicago. My cousins saw me on TV and I thought it was pretty cool for a fifth grader. ;)

I was only on TV one time, and it was for like..5-10 seconds! It was 2 years ago, and our 5th grade class wrote letters to the firemen and police officers for what they did on 9/11. It was just around that time, and our letters got sent to different kinds of stations. So one day a local news guy with a video came and taped me and two other kids holding these badges, and then my teacher talked about why we sent letters to them!

I was on the radio once when I phoned in to a local morning show to request their version of "The Jim Bakker Song" when he was in trouble there and the DJ said I had a "voice from above" and should be on radio - and put me on! I was really surprised - I've always thought my voice sounded goofy!

I also was on t.v. once when our company was launching a new "do it yourself" CreataCard machine. We were doing a segment on a local morning breakfast t.v. show and they wanted a video of how to use the machine so they used me. I had to play like I was a shopper that couldn't find the right card, so then I discover this machine where I can make my own. They played it when interviewing our P.R. guy. I've still got a copy of the video and its just tooooo lame! I'm embarrassed to watch myself.

Yeah, I was on a news clip for a station in Duluth, MN, for a thing we did in elementary school called "Readers' Roundtable" or something like that.

Then a group picture of me and some friends was in the Minneapolis news after one friend was killed in Iraq.

I've been on the radio LOTS of times, like around the time period of 1999-2001, for little things such as making song requests and helping out with the weather reports. Unfortunately, the radio station that I've been on no longer exists. :( I miss it!

I used to be on the radio alot, mostly when I would win concert tickets.

But one time, there was this DJ in Orlando named Mark Samanski and he had a band called the Sammy Demo Band and he used to do parodies on popular songs. Well, they took "Smoke on the Water", and changed it to "Bill Clinton's daughter". This was around when Chelsea was about to start at Stanford and at the same time, she was also in the news that she was being stalked by this guy. The next day, I was at work, I was telling one of my co-workers about the song. He looks me dead in the eye and said "I didn't know Clinton had a daughter". I mean I think he had been in office like 5 years already!!! This guy was oblivious to alot of things anyway.

So when I got done work, I had to call Mark and tell him about my co-worker. After I told him the story, he asked me if I would mind, going on the air and telling my story again for the listening audience. This was kind of his excuse to play the song again!!

The next day, another co-worker came up to me and asked "Was that you on the radio yesterday talking about Danny?" and Danny was standing right near me. I don't think he heard, though.

Yes, back in 2000-2001, I was a sidekick on a morning radio show here in NY on 102.7 WNEW. It was a heck of alot of fun. I think my favorite segment I ever did was the day after the 9/11 attacks, I was sent to Washington Square Park. I got to interview one of the engineers of the Twin Towers. I also got to interview just average New Yorkers and got their raw emotions to what happened the day before.

I still work in radio, but now I'm a producer who works behind the scenes.

I also did several radio shows in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Kansas City and Tampa (The Bubba the Love Sponge Show) I was also on TV being interviewed by Wally Kennedy on Philly After Midnight. I hosted a pro wrestling hotline and website that is why I got all those other gigs.

I also interned for the Opie and Anthony show when it was here in NY, so occassionally I would pop on the air with them.

Yes... a local station was doing weather shows in February one year(to get ready for severe weather season) and while the met was doing the weather, I got behind him and the camera and you could see me for a good 30 seconds or so. I recorded it at home and watched when I got back.

In February 2004, we travelled up to the highest peak in Alabama(Mount Cheaha, 2,405 feet) to see snow(remember: It rarely snows here  ), and there was a news crew there filming scenes and they were getting ready to do a live report on the Noon news. Well, he interviewed me and my sister for a minute. I was on the segment for just a few seconds(just video of me throwing snowballs :p ).

Back in August of '22 I was asked a question by a reporter for Pittsburgh's NBC station about a woman in the neighborhood I lived in then who was charged with running an illegal babysitting operation.
