This site's been around since early 2000. I'm wondering, aside from TJ and Pavanbadal, which members have been posting for the longest time? I'm referring to active members.

Ags2000 has been around quite a while. Most everyone else has changed their name so often it's hard to keep track of how long they've been here.

I think Janice means the ones who have been posting on a regular basis for the longest time. I think that other thread was just about the people who were members for the longest time but many of were a bunch of FOL fanatics who no longer come here.

IFoughtInWW2 is still a good friend of imnotsarah2007's, although she didn't register until 2003.

does anyone remember in late 2001 or so when there were two chit chat boards or something? the second one was listed as "Chit Chat (2)" i think. i didn't really understand it though, and there were only a few threads.

That is why I considered my username carefully. Originally, I was going to create a Facts of Life related name. But then I thought, "What if I'm not a fan in X number of years?".

Max Whittaker is the name of my favorite character from the first young adult book I ever read, "Titanic: the long night". I think several factors contributed to it's staying power:
1. I love books
2. That book is eternally special to me
3. I thought the character Max was cool
4. I thought the name Max Whittaker was cool
5. The name is simple.
6. It has nothing to do with sitcoms

It's a good thing I did, too. I probably would have grown dissatisfied with my first choice: MyJo... *shudders*

I passed the 2.5-year mark back in January...I'll close in on my 3rd year in July. This is the first name I ever registered...I registered a 2nd one when I came back in 03 but I abandoned that one in favor of this name. :D

Maybe in our profiles users' other names should be listed (automatic, like registration date) so we know who the heck is who half the time.
