........the woman who played Donna's mother probably was around Donna age her self? She just had on a gray wig and you could tell that woman wasn't that old. It was a lot of older black actresses even back then that could have played her mother.

I guess since the character was only since for a few minutes they probably didnt think it was such a big deal. Remember in the Lena Horne episode they had John Amos ( with grey beard and all) playing one of Fred's buddy's. I believe he was only in his mid 30's at the time.

I like the part in the episode when Donna says to Fred: "Do you intend to maryy me?" and Fred acts like he didn't understand and said "Defend two parakeets?"

:lol: That's one of my fave lines from that episode too! Another one I liked is when Donna's momma told her that Fred had "liar" written all over him, he said "No I don't, I got 'Mother' tattooed on my stomach"--LOL.
