Kirk Cameron thought that the producers of the show were immoral and once called them pornographers (according to Alan Thicke). Him and Chelsea (who played Kate) were not happy with the values on the show or something...so why did they come back for the reunion?

From what I've heard Kirk became born again and strayed from the rest of the cast during the final year or so. Then he dragged Chelsea and his kids up to the mountains to live a more tranquil life up there. He didn't even turn up for Tracey Gold's wedding. Don't know how they roped him into coming back for the reunion.
