Who are the most underrated TV daughters of all shows?

Jennifer Keaton (Family Ties) -- People always say how horrible she looked after puberty but she wasn't that bad and she was a master of sarcasm.

Lily Finnerty (Grounded For Life) -- People say how annoying she is all the time, but in my opinion she's quite a realistic teen and very funny. I love it how the two female leads on Grounded For Life aren't stick thin aswell. :D

Well I don't think Jennifer Keaton looks bad at all. Not then or now, but now she looks much better.

Wasn't that bad?!?She was the most BEAUTIFUL girl that I ever saw!I was BIG TIME in love with her :biglove: Well, here's my short list:
Kathy Anderson(FATHER KNOWS BEST):Cute,cuddly,just adorable
Jonnie Cunninham(HAPPY DAYS)Always in the shadow of her older brother and sent to her room.
There probably more that I will think of later.

Kelly Fox from Coach - She's very talented & beautiful, but never given a chance to become popular.

Julie Burton from It's Your Move - She's also very talented & beautiful, but no one ever really paid attention to her.

id have to go with Tina Yothers ( Jennifer Keaton Family Ties ), that kid was one of the best young actresses I ever saw ....her performance in the ep where she's jealous over her older sister going out with her ex best friend was hilarious,,,,"Im not a little girl!!! WAITER , MY BIKE!!!" ( that scene never failed to make me laugh )< True she wasnt all that pretty ( no offence rodwayne ), but as an actress, is that REALLY what matters? It was terrible how she was wasted on the last few seasons of FT " Jennifer, go to your room" <All she did for 3 years

Judy Winslow on Family Matters
It always got on my nerves how Judy just disappeared. How hard would it have been to come up with stories for her? They could have even turned her evil or something.
Morgan Matthews on Boy Meets World
They could have added a little more interaction and stories between her and some of the other main characters.

Karen Arnold

Carol Seaver

I completely agree with both of these--and I'd add Mallory Keaton. Jennifer's name has come up often, and I can see why. However, in Mallory's case, I think her intelligence was underrated. In one episode didn't she score higher on an I.Q. test than Alex?

Also, as I recall (and this goes way back for me), Mary Stone on the Donna Reed show had a few self-esteem issues, and I think was underrated because of it. Maybe another SO member could shed some light on this, someone who's more familiar with the show.

JUDY WINSLOW! It is so stupid how they (the producers) treated her like dirt. She was pretty funny in the first two seasons (She even was apart of/ had her own storyline) but they slowly decreased her character until season five, when she vanished. That MURDERED the show! And ddo you know what happened to the actress? Well first off her mother asked the producers when Judy will have an episode. Their response: When pigs fly! After she was fired at 13 Jaimee Foxworth became very depressed, and started doing drugs, and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Her family then told her they were running out of money. One day she was approached by a director and asked her if she'd want to model. When she went, she saw porn paid alot of money, so she did porn. But she only made a couple movies and stpped. She feels really cheap for stooping so low, and is trying to get her life back on track!

Hmmm, good question and all really good answers so far. Here's my list (I'm mostly a classic TV fan):

Bobbie Jo (Petticoat Junction)- she was by far the prettiest but all the storylines revolved around Billie Jo and Betty Jo (Bobbie Jo was the brunette middle daughter for those of you who need a little help remembering)

Connie Lubbock (Just the Ten Of Us)-my favorite character on that show but again, not much attention

Sherry Lubbock (Just the Ten of Us)- was she even on that show? That kid delivered every one of her dozen or so lines very well though when she was on

Cindy Brady (The Brady Bunch)-first started out as the cute one but in later years they really didn't use her very well at all, I didn't think

Vicki Stubing (Love Boat)-why didn't they do anything with that girl?

Katie Gatling (Benson)-another wasted opportunity for a good character

Sarah Powell (Charles in Charge)-I really liked this character and I thought she was the most realistic character of all 3 kids, but she was always in Nicole Eggert's shadow

Marilyn Munster (The Munsters)- ok, so she was a niece, but not much went on with her character either

The missing Osbourne daughter (The Osbournes)-underrated because she either made a great decision or an awful one (depending on how you look at it) by not being on that show...I think they could have had interesting storylines involving talk of the absent daughter without her ever having to appear on the show

^ You're right - Katie Gatling belongs in this list. Missy Gold was really a charming child actress, and is now doing well for herself in the mental health profession.

Joanie "Shortcake" Cunningham (Happy Days), now there's a girl who was constantly sent to her room so the adults could talk, LOL.

Carrie Ingals-She was underused on Little House.
