OK how can my internet browser automatically update its cookies without me having to keep pressing refresh - this is particularly frustrating when using ebay?
Anyone know? It never used to be like this!

what browser is it, you may have to adjust your security or cookie settings to allow cookies for that particular site.

Internet Explorer lets you choose which sites you can accept cookies from, but if ALL cookies are being rejected, you can reset your security settings:
Choose Tools, then
Internet Options.
Click the Privacy tab,
Default setting is medium. Move the slider to determine which setting you prefer - reset to Default will allow the most common cookies. (do NOT set it too LOW - you may even want to reset to default, then move it up to Medium-High, then manually add the sites that you want to allow in the next step)
You can also click on Advanced for specialized cookie treatment for specific sites (block or allow by domain).

and keep in mind that when you run your Spybot and AdAware, you have the option of saving whichever cookies you want or wiping them all out when you do a scan
