I know FM wasn't nominated for any Emmy's but do you guys think it should have been?

I know FM wasn't nominated for any Emmy's but do you guys think it should have been?I think so. Jo Marie Payton was funny and deserved an emmy. I think that Urkel made the show too unreal at times and that is why they never were nominated. the first season was really good without Urkel.

I think Jaleel White and Reginald VelJohnson should have at least been nominated, but I'm still not sure if they should have actually won. I also think that Jo Marie Payton should have been nominated for Best Lead Actress in a comedy series.

No. Look at the types of shows the emmies nominate and compare it to Family Matters. FM could compete for the People's Choice Awards but not anything peer driven.

Yeah I know, unfortunately for FM, shows like Cheers,Fraiser,Murphy Brown,Seinfeld,and Friends, dominated the emmy award shows throughout the 90's. Every once in a while there was an exception, I know 3rd Rock was nominated and won a few emmy's, and that show is pretty unreal. But John Lithgow and Kristen Johnston certainly deserved the awards. I know Craig T. Nelson from Coach also won an emmy one year.
