I once heard that on the first day of shooting of "Gilligan's Island", Alan Hale hitchiked to work. It could be a lie, it could be true. I don't know

It could be a lie, it could be true. I don't know  gilligan fanatic 04-19-2005, 04:46 PM that is true. He was filming a western movie in the middle of no where. He then went by horse to the edge of the set. From there he hitchiked to LA and then rode in a taxi to the audition for his role as the skipper. this was the audidion for the pilot Munsters#1 04-19-2005, 05:12 PM Well I'll be damned! That's kinda a funny story that he had to hitchike to work. I wonder who the person was who gave him a lift? Of course, that would be impossible to find out. gilligan fanatic 04-19-2005, 05:46 PM yeah but I wonder if the person who did it watched Gilligan and thought this is all because of me Munsters#1 04-19-2005, 06:03 PM I guess your right!
