I like Peggy! She is a great actress and she's funny.

I loved Peg most,but Marcy was alright.I liked how she gave Al hell.

I enjoyed Marcy more in the first few seasons when Steve was still around. She became more annoying later on. As for Peggy always loved her personality so overall she's the preference

I like both of them alot, I will have to give peg a little bit of an edge though for her excellent acting.:cool:

Peggy always had this real sexuality thinly veiled by her trailer trash persona. I dug from the get go and could never understand why Al coudn't get it up with her.

^Haha yeah I never understood why Al didn't find Peggy attractive. She was totally hot! And had a figure like those other women Al was ogling in big-uns magazine.
Marcy could get really annoying. I loved Als insults to her. She was usually funny, but as I said, it could get annoying.

The point is that Al never wanted to have sex with Peggy because she was his *wife*, not because he didn't found her attractive.

I loved Peggy. Marcy got annoying, but she had some balls in those panties! And I love how Al insults her. Funniest moment ever...

Marcy was pretty attractive in the first few seasons but I can't get into the short hair thing that came later and her charcter became more and more shrill and annoying after Steve left.

I liked when Al's trapped in the basement by Bud and has Marcy come over to talk about her women's group, they do a cutaway to make like she's been talking for ages and Al's taken a huge bite out of the wrench he was holding.

Hard for me to choose. They both had funny things about them. Peggy was the lazy housewife and Marcy was the annoying working woman.

I and all my sons and grandsons love Peggy better than Marcy. Marcy is probably lame.

Peggy. Marcy could have been played by most any actress. Peggy while was in a league of her own.

Another vote for Peggy. She just oozed sexiness and confidence.

I did like Marcy as well though. She proved she could hold her own against the Bundys, like the time she slugged Bud when he was trying to make a move on her. :lol:

Though Marcy is pretty good in the early seasons.

At the moment, as i havent seen all the episodes (i just finished season 2 which i got on dvd. i also got season 3) I like steve better than Jefferson. but from the later episodes i've seen, jefferson is pretty funny.

:confused: It's difficult to choose because both Peggy and Marcy have qualities about them that make them both really good characters and I like them equally. However, I guess I like Peggy more just because she is funnier I think.

Hard to say, they both have their upsides (Peggy demanding things from Al, Marcy annoying Al), but I'm going to have to go with Peggy by a piece of ***-paper.

Mainly because Peggy and Al, barring a few episodes in the final season, stayed together all those years despite their differences, making for all that great comedy! =D
